why should i play solo q

ive had nothing but troubles since october through now. every time i log onto ranked its nothing but a pile up, maybe itll turn out even, unlikely ill snowball, and ill mostly get angry at my team mates. i cant stand it to be ranked and i get the first time katarina pick "MID" shout out and then surprise, crap cs and you went 0/5, surprise surprise, 0 games played on kat.

i have to put too much nonsense into the people i play with and what champion/role im allowed to play every single game. i just cant do the things that i want to do.

at this point id rather just play aram, i know its way imbalanced but at least it forces my team mates to group up, and my team mates only have 3 bushes to worry about, they dont even need to ward because its obvious where they are "right in front of you". and on the bright side i might get something blatently OP like ziggs/lux etc. at least in aram its ok to lose, im not heavily punished for it like i am in ranked (decreased MMR, even worse games from now on).

TL;DR ranked is infuriating me recently because of team mates, so im moving over to aram until i deem it to be more balanced than aram, and more fair for the average person. and until i stop getting paired with people who have a "whatever" attitude.

One person on my team always ruins the game by feeding and losing!

One person on the enemy team gets fed from this feeding losing lane and can then carry their team!

It's impossible for me as an individual to have an impact on this game!

not quite. its that i havent played enough games for the cheese to normalize to have been equal on both sides. in addition should the cheese happen on the other side, im not in their lane to take advantage over it. ill be something like support.

or the enemy top laner is quasi bad, and my top laner is equally bad, so theres no real difference between the two, but im adc and cant take advantage of it because its across the map.

MMR works for extended long term players, but its literaly screwing me over in this short term with the people i get matched with. i just hate their guts. at least in aram im having fun and can see weird matchups like anivia vs soraka.

its called being zoned. if i want to cs i have to put my face into range kogs W, i can only take so much damage before i have to back or i risk giving a kill away and miss cs.

did you even look at TP yi? or when morgana bought a sight stone? lets check wards placed.

Ranked is not about that game with morg or whatever, or even 10 or 20 games. Its about 100 or more. Get over it. If you cannot handle that simple fact, play normals and have fun.

The same way that I was stuck in low silver for most of S4, only to jump to gold at the end of it. Finally started getting less trolls than the other team. Sure, you have to play well. But, you are only 1 piece out of 10. The other 9 have a much bigger impact than just you.

According to your logic, I belonged in low silver since I played there for hundreds of games. That doesn't really say why I got gold in under a month then lol. Likewise, the reason I can't win at low silver play while I was gold last season is because being 1-0 up 30 cs at 12 mins doesn't change the fact that the team score is 1/15. It is a TEAM game. Stop expecting people to carry. I don't see LeBron winning the NBA championship every year, despite being the best player.

No, you misunderstood my point. Just because you play 100 games in a league, doesn't necessarily mean you belong there, it just means that it took over 100 games for you to get out. It really depends on your real skill level, a gold level player is going to find it harder to carry out of Silver than a Plat or Diamond player; therefore, they will play less games in a given league/division.

Ultimately, you climbed because you got better and won more games. You shouldn't diminish your accomplishments. It takes a lot to improve your skill at this game. Congrats, most people don't make it that far.

The reason I preach the "Ranked is about 100 games" is to change the way people look at ranked. If you look at it as a series of 100 or more games, you start to see that the randomness evens out and you have a real shot at having a meaningful impact in a portion of your games.

You could be the best player in the game, but not win the game if your TEAM is not better than theirs. People should understand that they have to contribute to the win, yes, but a simply "carry harder" is not a good argument at all. The system does not place you at your skill level. The system places you at the skill level where you can no longer 1v5 the enemy team lol. There should be no "carrying". There should be play well on a team that is playing well. The better team will win. Not the person that got lucky and got a troll in the lane against them.

Carrying means more than racking up kills and 1v5ing the other team. It means much much more. I find good communication is the best way to find any consistent success in Ranked.

It happened to me, of course it can happen to you. When I started Ranked in Season 2. I went from 1100 ELO to under 700. I took a hard look at myself and worked on my issues with the game. Suddenly, I began to win more games and at the end of the season, I ended up at 1200 ELO and a 23W-5L on Kog'Maw and an above 50% win-rating on my 5 other alt champs.

You have 80 CS and that "noob kat" had 64 CS. Why are you saying that she is bad when your CS as an ADC is just barely better than hers?

sorry, my morg was missing everything and just spamming with what wasnt on cd and didnt put a point into black shield until beyond level 6. (at which point she wouldn't shield me at all). made herself oom about 50seconds into lane and then useless support. much later around 12/13minute mark brand would just roam bot from behind tribrush behind tower and braum would towerdive.

kog was smart enough to stay back and harass with his W outside of my range, braum was doing well to zone me. may as well have been a 2v1 lane, but you werent there, all you can see is the stats which is understandable. i will take blame for my mistakes, but i can not work with these strangers.

why should i have to carry? if 9/10 players are pants on head retarded, and then theres me, whos only shorts on head retarded, we should be more favored to win, however im not a big enough fish to make a difference against a 10/1 enemy champ.

so that means im still a sucker to my team mates. and only by playing an immeasurable amount of games will i manage to crawl away from pants on head retarded players.
