@Meddler: Interesting Elise changes. Can you provide any context?

3/17 PBE Update

Elise

  • Movement Speed (Spider form) increased to 355 from 345
  • Movement Speed (Human form) reduced to 325 from 335
  • Cocoon (Human E) missile speed increased to 1600 from 1450

So you're giving her less Human Form mobility, but greater Spider Form mobility, and slightly better Cocoon travel speed. Odd choices for buffs.

Can we get some context as to why you want to go in this direction?

Also, a suggestion for another buff: Make it so hitting an enemy Champion with Cocoon refreshes the cooldown on Spider Form.

Nidalee gets this, why can't Elise?

Why do people keep calling this a buff? Should be able to land cocoon as it was, now it'll be harder to get in range to land it, you lose more MS on the nerf than gain on the buff due to how ms scaling works, this is definitely a nerf.

Because you can't close the distance in Spider form for some reason.

For god sakes, Her transformation only has a 4 second CD. It's not hard to use the enhanced MS on her Spider form. then Going human for the stun.

4 seconds is longer than you think when you're trying to gank. Unless the laner you're ganking for has cc of their own that 1 second stun from Coccoon will mean nothing because the enemy laner will just run away again once the stun wears off.

I think item 3009 will be great on her. It'll sacrifice some combat stats that other boots give, but that extra 20 speed and slow resistance could be useful. Or just taking the alacrity enchantment if you can afford to to make up for the movement speed nerf on her human form. Otherwise, her spider form is going to be crazy fast.

Certainly a possibility, but I think Sorc Shoes will still be critical for Elise's %-health damage, especially against squishy targets.
