Hes R is by far one of the WORST abilities I have ever seen, no matter what I do when I was blitzcrank or any other champ that hard cc's him, He just R's away like its nothing, and if we manage to catch him again, he will just zhonyas in a middle of the teamfight and go back in and use his 1 second R ability which is overloaded as hell

Yeah his ult makes up for the rest of his kit being pretty much useless. When I play Kass these days I just stack mana and build around my ult.
His R deals like 1/2 a caster minion's health of damage. That's not waveclear.
It's a blink with a cast time, so you can still land a bunch of CC if you don't suck.
He gets a bunch of mobility because he sucks at everything else. Can't really assassinate, can't really tank or sustain, doesn't really have a lot of CC, pretty shit waveclear. He's got a tiny bit of all of those things but none of them are even remotely as useful as what other champions bring with just as much mobility

Can constantly avoid blitz's hook or kite an entire team with each aa at no cost.
It also takes up half his mana bar so just ignore him
You should have played against him before he got gutted. He is actually balanced now.

your arguments are pretty weak overall since a massive amount of champs can escape a blitz after a hook. Also, you cant say fizz has the worst abilities to then say its kassadin. you arent fooling anyone.
