I just saw the changes Riot is trying to do for crit items. They are simply terrieble. If you have not noticed, they are trying to remove the uniqueness that every item has to offer. For example the upcomming changes to crit items make them all have ENERGIZE as their passive. All crit items having the same fking passive. They are removing the unique passive on phantom dancer, same for stormrazor. I can not stress thie nough on how bad this is. If these changes get through, Riot will do the same for other items too. Next up they will go after AP items, make them all have the same passive. Then they will move to tank and bruser items.

This is NOT how items should work. Every item should offer something unique that will help you for certain situations. But instead of adding new items to the game that offer something new, Riot is just trying to make every item the same.

If you want to help Marksmen, instead of making every crit item the same, why not add new ones that offer different options ? Maybe add a crit item that gives you Critical %, Attack Speed and Magic resist with a new and unique passive ? Or a crit item that gives you Attack Speed, Crit chance and Armor and a unique passive ??? But that would actually take work to do right ? Its just better to make every item the same instead of making new an interesting items. Im just disappointed with the direction we are going for. You should not be afraid to add new items to the game. Because unlike champions, items CAN BE REMOVED. Just look at Deathfire Graps and Banner of Command.

Its just sad to see this. You lock champions out of certain items (Tiamat for ranged, Steraks for marksman...) , you force players to choose an item over another (Ludens Echo, Hextech GLP, Archangel Staff...) , you make active items share the same cooldown timer (Hextech GUnblade, Hextech GLP...), you have items share the same unique passive so you cant build both items (Steraks and Maw, Trinity and Lickbane ....) and now you are trying to make all items the same...........

Your intentions are becoming clear. You are trying to make best in slot for every class. You no longer reward experimentation. At least thats how I feel. Its disappointing to see this. I hope you dont treat items so lightly in the future.
