Please? if we got rid of poppys old ult. why does kayle still exist?

Poppy's ultimate was immunity to damage and CC from everyone except her main target.

Pick the assassin. Now they have to choose between trying (and failing) to kill you, or attacking the rest of your team while you go ham on their whole team. Well...shit.

Pick the mage who just blew all their CDs. Well, shit.

Pick the ADC who your team just caught out of position. Well, shit.

Pick the enemy bruiser who cannot out-duel you and might have one hard CC. Well, shit.

It seems Poppy's ultimate is "damned if you do, damned if you don't."

Kayle's ultimate, on the other hand, is literally just a shield with infinite HP. It's no different from, say, Karma blocking your damage with a shield. Or Shen. Or Janna. Or anyone who bought Face of the Mountain+Locket of Iron Solari.

It also lasts 1/3 the duration of Poppy's old ultimate.

One possible reason is because kayle's ult is very short through early/mid game, whereas poppy's was providing immunity to damage for significantly longer.

but poppy can still be attacked by a person and it can't be casted on a second person.

They counter play is the short duration of the ult. It's used to be like 5 seconds

Kayle's ultimate makes a single target champion immune to damage for 2-3 seconds.

yes i do. poppy can't penta your team. while kayle can just ult a master yi that kills your team in that short period of time. or at least ult him when hes low on health.
