Its not gonna happen. You wanted her reworked in the first place, it happened. Now its up to you guys to work with Riot to fix the issues. We Aatrox mains had to do the same thing, so it isn't case specific issues, and more like general issues that require tuning, which makes sense. The changes that are on twitter may be dumbing her down a bit, but you know what was very dumbed down? Old Akali. They are making her feel like Old Akali, but at the same time keeping it fresh. If the Aatrox changes that took time landed well, then you can pretty much figure when the final changes for this Akali mini rework roll around she'll be in a better place.

You can probably bet Kayle will be next for changes like this since her kit is very all over the place in terms of power that doesn't resemble old Kayle in a way.

i didnt want akali or irella reworked i really enjoyed playing them havent touched them since they dont even really share their old playstyle at all i just moved on

Yeah, that's why I hate both of the reworks. Irelia kept her Q but I feel like everything else is worse as of now. As for akali, I felt like CT tried to keep the spirit of the champ but a modernized form of her old kit seems like it is worse for the game. Maybe all he should have done was change the E.

i agree 100% i never wanted the rework i loved playing akali she was my main. now i dont play her, she isnt fun to play and shes weak as fuck. if old akali S8 laned against this "new" akali she would eat this piece of trash champ.

Uhuh, it's almost like different people complained from different points of view.

For example, i was strongly against her rework. Or any rework really. Don't generalize if you don't need to.

No, I generally dread riot's reworks and this is why.

Now its up to you guys to work with Riot to fix the issues.

I don't think riot listens to the players that often unless they are specifically fishing for a certain kind of feedback, like which champ to rework next year.

Yet the one rework nobody asked for was Garen's Juggernaut rework which took him from diamond viability down to gutter trash gold with a few minor exceptions where the absolute best have managed to climb.

So much fun getting butt-f**ked by every top lane champion sitting under your tower abusing your passive to farm hoping for a gank from a competent jungler because your W no longer deals damage to paper.

The Juggernaut rework is starting to show its time was up since a while ago (once runes reforged came out). Darius is doing terrible, and Garen, and Skarner, and Morde was before his rework. The bois need some work. The only reason I didn't list Aatrox is because of the reason why im not mentioning how good Morde is right now: Im basing it on the rework that ruined the world's meta that year.
