Could we get a longer "Accept Game" countdown?

I like playing LoL a lot. Sometimes, it's a couple minutes wait between joining the queue, and getting into anything.

So I like to use this time to clean my room. But the countdown we have to accept a match when it's found, is so low, that I have to instantly drop whatever I'm doing, jump over to my computer, hand on the mouse, scramble it around trying to click on the pretty small "accept" button that's right next to the "decline" button. It only leaves me with 1 second left!

That's it, just one extra second??

I shouldn't have to sit in front of my computer, staring at the LoL screen to catch the queue. Just extending the countdown a couple of seconds.

I see you're one of those people.

what kind of person is that? Someone who doesn't want to spend every possible moment in front of the computer? Waiting around for five minutes is a great oppertunity to do various small tasks. Like eating something.

He means you're one of those 10th person who never accepts the match for some reason.

No, you're one of those people that make me sit and watch the time dwindle down to 0.

No, I'm not. Most of the time I'm right here. But it would be nice to go and put this dirty dish into the kitchen without it meaning I miss the coundown 100% it happens in the 12 seconds it takes me to do that; I can hear the notification, but there's no way for me to accept in time.

Even just making the button bigger, so it's easier to click on, would be meaninful.

That would just make a lot of people AFK during queues because it would give them more time to do other things during the countdown.

And it is pretty annoying when everyone doesn't accept imo.

We're talking about an extra two seconds to the countdown. Not an extra minute, or something ridiculous.

Or, you can clean your room & shit BEFORE searching for a match. It only takes about a minute to find a team, jeez...

Right now, I've been in queue for 20 minutes, trying to find a teambuilder team.

The countdown is 5 seconds; how generous.

If you're looking for top/mid, forget it. The Ekko hype isn't calming down for about a week or 2. I suggest you take other roles to save some time. If not, build your own team.

I usually just browse other stuffs like Memecenter/9gag/facebook/youtube etc when I'm waiting for my queue. I didn't think you would be this board to "leave your chair".

Even if I'm not standing up, just eating a bowl of cereal is too distracting to reliably press the accept button 100% of the time. The button is small, right next to the decline button, and there's only four seconds to notice the alert, put down my spoon, grab the mouse, find my cursor, and get it to the correct position. Every damn part of this game is stressful!

Maybe longer depending on how long you had to wait for it to pop. Thing is it'll sorta encourage being afk. Unless you have wireless headset and can run back to your PC in time.

Yah, but people don't accept that much, and after missing a queue, you typically keep the same group, and the system searches for one more person, so it's not nearly as long of a wait.

You currently have to be RIGHT THERE to accept the queue, and if you're even eaten some ramen, you have to scramble to click the accept button in time.

Here's a though one, take a Ramen break during Que load time.

So, I should risk missing actual game time, to stare at a clock?

I'd prefer to use both of those times, to eat a full bowl, rather than have it sit out during the game and get cold.
