Which damage type do you prefer between AD and AP and why?

I prefer AP cause I love playing mages but I feel so irrelevant late game as a damage threat. I want my 1000 AP back :c

If you need 1000 ap to do your job as mages you need to git gud

Have fun trying to burst through phantom dancer death's dance maw/mercurial. My only purpose late game is occupying some enemy slot with magic resist items so my own ADC can profit from that. If he sucks and we reach late game lulz too bad for me I loose.

EDIT: Damage wise of course I still have my cc to lock them down for my ADC or keeping them away from my ADC xD but it was way more fun to be able to do stuff myself.

And what change of my garbage mentality can help me change the fact that a supposedly squishy class can build to absorb my full rotation like I didn't use it?

because you dont even know how to play your champ. You have like 200 games on orianna and <50% winrate LUL

In lcs i have never seen an ADC buying malmortius maw, deaths dance, phantom dancer , mercury boots and mercurial scimitar.. Because the other ADC would do triple their damage and fuck his team.. Ps: Still expecting the advice useful to burst through that once I bait the mercurial unload my full combo with ultimate and the guy survives ^^

It's fun because the game my salt towards this build comes from I was actually Annie xD enemy vayne survived Q-Tibbers-W-second Q-2/3 tibbers autos. I would really really appreciate any advice on my lacking mechanics to have killed her. Edit:whops I forgot the protobelt damage too (which she responded instantly wasting her qss to cleanse a yet not thrown stun )

i prefer AP... but im learning some AD champsion becuase ap itemization is such trash right now...

like more than 75% of the items are niche picks that cant be used on the vast majority of AP champions..

I prefer AD because thematically I like hitting people more than casting spells.

I like both personally. Blowing people up with a juicy combo is always pretty fun. But pulling off perfect kiting mechanics with high attack speed is also fun
