I think its way too easy to get to silver..

People have no caring or regards for people on that elo or rank because they have no sense of accomplishment yet so they dont care what happens.

STORY TIME: I remember a game i had last season where this Leona and i forgot what ADC were in my team and the leona went in with her E early game and the adc didnt follow through. The leona complainted that the adc didnt participate and it was a great endgage so the adc didnt care and responded on the lines of im just gonna farm. This got the leona upset and she just walked towards the enemy team and died and then the adc got upset with the leona and they both started feeding on purpose through out the whole game they had given the enemy team over 25 kills between both of them before we could surrender. Now people who havent been on Silver elo or rank for long would assume im full of shit and this type of thing happens once in a life time. No it does not. These type of shenanigans happen all the time in different ways to a lot of players on silver elo.

STORY TIME 2: This one time our mid gave away first blood in the first 3 minutes and my adc an ezreal said you suck zed and then Zed said screw this and just left.. for the rest of the game

I feel a ton of people really dont care for rank or the elo at silver because its too easy to get there and its even easier to stay there. Maybe we should all start from Bronze 5 or something below and make our way up all the way through the ranks without skipping steps. Yes it sounds like an annoying chrose but it would weed out a ton of trolls.

What do you guys think ?

i once had a game where i was the jungle rammus and before my 1st clear annie had already fed 3 kills to the enemy syndra. She then roams and feeds bot lane where the twitch/ezreal (cant remember which but it was one of those 2) was flaming the leona for taking cs with the relic shield passive. Me and i believe it was a garen top just said fuck it ff.

I don't see what that would accomplish other than shuffling names around. You can call all of bronze "bronze 5" an all of silver "bronze 4", I just don't see how it will change things.

fwiw, my guess is that people doing this are on the mechanically skilled side of silver (or they'd be in bronze not silver), so those are not people just starting out. Newish players usually don't have the skills, but they don't tend to be toxic either (I remember one adc in silver that did not buy boots by 5 items. Someone mentioned that, and guess what, she sold an item and bought boots. 0 toxicify from her either, just bad play. I looked it up later, it was her 2nd ranked game. That's what new players can look like. Players in your games? prolly have been around for a while, so they're at same mmr as adc I mentioned despite acting as they do)

it would keep most people and trolls on the same page. Being lower elo gives you higher points per victory so its a bit easier to climb up by winning games vs losing them. I feel being in silver should at least wager a more dedicated tone to playing the game. Reason why i personally play rank is to play vs better players i however have hardly ever seen that in the 3 years ive played league. My next rank game i have no idea what will happen, the players i play vs or are in my team could be anything from an afk, to a smurt, to a bot. I wouldnt be surprised if i see bot annie playing. I just want to have good games at some point.

As for on the same page -- I don't see why. Gold IS a bit better than silver, even if a little, so I see no reasons not to separate the two. People who are in gold generally troll a bit less, and have a bit more clue, so they get rewarded by playing with people with same mmr in them, rather than being lumped into the same bracket as bronze. I think that works as intended.

As for you not playing with players as good as you think you should be playing with.. I don't see how it will help it either. You play vs. people of about your MMR, for whatever reason you have this MMR, and shuffling ranks around will not really change it... at least as far as gold is concerned.
