So, what do people build on GP now?

Eh I've been going Essence Reaver, boots, Shiv, IE, Last whisper item, and then GA/Visage/Sterak's depending on how the game is. This maxes out your CDR and gives 70% crit which is nice.

Laning phase sucks more than it used too just because you don't get sheen, but that's just the life of GP

Why not Sheen (probably for Iceborn Gauntlet later) for the poke damage and then going for the normal GP items? I don't see how finished Triforce is good on GP anymore, because you need reliable crit chance. He has no good gapcloser or AS steroid to sit on top of the enemy team, so the AS is a waste.

I think it might be viable to just forget crit and instead go for more ad and armor pen. Essentially you replace IE with Duskblade as your typical second item. The Duskblade proc works with his Q. I'm not expert though, maybe crit is just better.

... Lich Bane, Spirit Visage, AP stuff. :) He is a battle mage, according to riot. :^)

I have been still been going Triforce. then lucidity boots, Youmuu's and Duskblade. This turns Gangplank into the bane of all squishies, you can't outrun him with his Youmuu's. Plus, this build is insane at taking towers.

I finished it off with bloodthirster and Sterak's. But not sure about those items yet.

Has anyone tried a more bruiser approach to GP like . The build should be more cost efficient than crit plank, and would actually allow you to tussle in skirmishes longer.
