What's with Riot's HATE of people playing their prefered champions?

ARAM, AR URF, All For One, 10 Bans, Autofill.

Can't we just play the shit we paid you for already?

You keep thinking that. You are literally admitting to have zero life if you manage to unlock even the majority of this game through gameplay. Would take thousands upon thousands of hours.

No, because there's free rotation so you don't need to unlock the champion to play them. Also, most players don't even like playing every champion and only have a champion pool that they actually play of about 20

Just because you feel the need to play a different champion every game doesn't change the fact it's still free and not even pay to win, so the argument is kinda dumb bringing up the amount of time required to buy the majority of champs.

  • ARAM was turning a custom game mode into an actual game mode.
  • The community decided after the first several URFs that actually having a "meta" for it isn't fun.
  • The gimmick of All For One is everybody playing the same champ so I don't see where this argument even comes in.
  • 10 bans is just draft, so go ahead and play blind pick if you're so obsessed with playing your "preferred" champion.
  • How is autofill any different than going into a lobby as 5th pick, having your team-mates pick first and not getting the 2 roles you currently queued up for?

If anything, if the community is paying for anything, this is what they actually wanted. Not often does Riot just flatout say "no" to community suggestion.

ARAM

It's a tiny map mode which only requires you to go one direction to your objectives. Making it all random balances it out.

AR URF

As everyone said, the game will go stale really fast if majority of the games were picked by the same champions like Fizz or Vladimir everytime.

All For One

This is done by selecting a champion that was picked by the majority in your team. Nothing to do with it being "all random" at all.

10 Bans

134 champions dude. Even 10 bans is still considered a petty amount. If your main keeps getting banned out all the time, you should acknowledge the fact that your champion is OP/annoying & you need to expand your champion pool.

Autofill

This is to avoid having excessive large queue times between the playerbase. Riot has had enough of your past complains about "shitty long queue times" threads.

Can't we just play the shit we paid you for already?

As 420 grams said, it's a free game. You paid for things like champions, skins, IP boost & etc. Nothing to do with paying for things that you wanted it your way, like removing autofills & such.

This argument goes against what you said:

You are literally admitting to have zero life if you manage to unlock even the majority of this game through gameplay. Would take thousands upon thousands of hours.

Just to chime in about One for All. OP is probably talking about the fact that 3 other players in a group take you hostage and force the champion picked in their favor by removing the other two player's votes. It's extremely frustrating and I don't see why they even allow there to be a point where so many player votes = automatically chosen champion. Everyone's vote should count.

As for autofill, the majority of the playerbase didn't have long queue times, they just added it to everyone for the sake of adding it to everyone when they could have just kept it the way it was, above a certain ranking you get autofill. Now it's in normals and everything. It also takes priority OVER secondaries. I've seen people get autofilled to support when someone had secondary support. The system is flawed.

As for URF, the game goes stale after about 3 days they said before. We get URF now for 3 days, so....?

Riot is a multi-million dollar company. It isn't because the game is "free." It's because of the paying players that you free loaders can exist.

Simply put no one addressed my point. What's wrong with playing what you want to play? Only game I've ever seen where you can't do that.
