The whole rune system for season 8 will be over the top... GARBAGE

The very first runes mentioned for season 8... Players can purchase items even when they don't have 💰, giving that player a huge advantage by reaching power spikes early against a player who doesn't have that specific "rune reforged" set up.

Then, if I'm not mistaken, we are getting an extra washed up version of flash along side of flash. Great, let's have bad players who get caught a chance to flash again and escape.

Now, we're getting On-The-Fly Summoner Spell changes in-game. Wtf is this, Riot? This is complete garbage.

The upcoming Preseason and throughout all of Season 8 will be a nightmare, believe me. Not only will balance issues be a problem, the game will be a total mess with over the top runes.

Riot is leaning heavily toward the social aspect of the game and steering away from being competitive. The new system will be a huge success for low elo players to compete against better players by lowering the skill-gap. (ie, in-game summ changing, extra flash, slows, ect.)

I am extremely disappointed with Riot's decision-making.

My thought here is that all of these iterations are going ot make the game even more difficult to balance. Fix the broken champs first should be the priority.

that rune goes into effect only 2 minutes into the game, so you can do that, but you would have to tp back to lane. If it's still an issue and players will abuse it, a simple fix would be simply pushing it when rune "turns on".

it can be used only when flash is down and it's a an ability that you have to channel for a few sec(don't remember the exact time and it's probably still up in the air) not something you can use in combat. Most likely you're gonna use to invade enemy jungle by geting across walls or to gank.

hmm, i guess it's different people have different oppinions regarding it. I personally woudn call it garbage, but i do think it's pretty weak. Still it's not on the fly change, you have to get 3 summoner spell shards to change your summoner spell in the shop.

it's true, like evry pre-season, but that's what it's for. Still you should really do a proper research before making this kind of thread, because now you jsut look stupid.

More options NEVER decreases the skill ceiling. It only increases it.

I completely agree, having now played the preseason I cannot tell you how disappointed I am. The new runes/mastery thing is such bs, it takes away the element of being able to have a preference of play, they have taken away your option to choose as now you only get to choose 5 masteries/runes altogether. I have uninstalled league and will never play it again. Many other lol players feel the same and will uninstall too. Everybody who played lol liked the rune and mastery system. It was fair, it gave you so many different options for how you liked to play the game. they have stripped that and made the game so basic just for the new people who want to play the game. its way to simple now, its like playing lol s7 at lvl 1 on lol s8 lvl 30. whats the point? no reason to rank up. overall this will be the end of league of legends as many people will see how bad it is compared to all the previous seasons. Thanks and bye league, forever.

I've written this so many moons ago. Yet, it has come true. With random based runes like Kleptomacy, low skilled players are able to complete against better players equally. Randomness diminishes skill.

League has become a casual game. It is no longer competitive.

And whatever you and I say about the newly implemented Rune System, low elo players will downvote, or do everything they can to shut us down... They can finally be good at the game.
