For tanks who need cooldown and mana (like Sion) vs an AD top:
for offense
for defense
For those same tanks vs an AP top: crickets
Can we please get something to fill this gap? First item for mana-reliant tanks vs AP top lane is miserable. I mean, Iceborn Gauntlet literally doubles Sion's mana at level 6. The mana is really important. Tank abilities are not cheap.

BloodyTompon2 votesWhy are you needing it? The presence of a gap doesn't necessitate the gap being filled. Sion has very cheap mana costs tbh. The shield is the only thing remotely expensive (and deservingly so).
Consider this, most tanks deal AP damage and most (all?) have mana. So if they rushed this they would be able to spam and take much less damage from the opposing tank. All without giving anything up. Basically it makes a much faster wet noodle fight. If one has no kill pressure and can't force the opponent out of mana it results in a stale, non-interactive lane.
