Taliyah is Op with Skill

Today I played taliyah support. My adc left immediately and I was left vs a twisted fate and hecarim. And got fed... A lot.

It all depends on skill, timing, etc. landing all rocks on a twisted fate (at lv1) did 158 damage, and I was able to pick him off by continuingly poking him down , then the same for heca. If you keep distance and make sure you can land your abilities, Taliyah makes a great champ that's ultimately pretty good at combat. Stop begging for reworks and actually try to be good, which may sound rude, but a lot of people aren't really trying. GLHF!

Her entire kit is styled around hard engages or disengages. She is tuned PERFECTLY for the support role, but you need to understand.

Many believe she was intended as a Mid lane champion, and her kit at times, can feel a little weak. She is often out bursted or out-traded early, and has no way of avoiding that in some cases, champions like Syndra, Zed, and Yasuo are able to just straight up out damage her, or even negate portions of her kit due to their own kits. I'd say its less of people not trying, and whining that the champion is bad, and more just asking for a bit more tuning towards the midlane aspect of her, since it can be rather lacking at times.

That's just my opinion, I've played her a couple times in both roles, and I enjoy her more in support than mid, because you feel like you are more enabling to make plays as a support, but her mid potential isn't horrible either, it's just not quite where it seems it should be currently.

I don't know what changes might have happened between your post and mine but mid lane Taliyah is definitely overpowered. She 1v2'd me (Yasuo) and Rengar level 3 with starting items. Broken.

Hi there, i have reached Taliyah mastery 7 and wish to input my opinion on this. :D Taliyah's midlane is not bad, its meh. Yes, her damage is as high as most midlaners, but keeping your distance, predicting the w, e combo followed by a q can do wonders to a health bar. One thing i have learnt over my time playing her is.... She is a super overpowered support if played right. I got to mastery 7 with ONLY support games as her, it's so ridiculous it's hilarious. I have had to 1v2 on a few occasions, but i use q range for slow poke and then expectantly use w, e whenether i have an ADC or not. It keeps the enemy laners poked and agitated whilst your ADC can farm. The W E is great for catching a running enemy, and normally gives you or your ADC the kill. Don't get cocky no matter how fed you and your ADC are, Taliyah's only real form of defence is her W, which is actually a really good move for escaping and saving your team. Only build magic items AFTER getting your starter support item, best choice being ancient coin so you can focus on poking. Try not to take all the kills from your ADC, as easy as it may be. Taliyah is the kind of champ where if you get into the game, even if your team are losing horribly, you can still end up with scores like 22/8/26

I went off trail a lot, but basically, Taliyah is a great support, ignore the bronze/silver people saying she is only mid and "wtf are you taliyah support?" :D

Against idiots who don't know when to trade or engage, sure. She's one of the easiest to take advantage of and shit on.
