Since statikk shyv and firecape deals extra damage to minions I think its fair for Luden Echo to deal extra damage to minions as well

Well it would help mages with low waveclear, but could make mages with already strong waveclear over the top.

Yeah, and I like that very much. I'm just afraid mages with Great waveclear like Ahri would abuse It.

for 1 i don't think her waveclear is all that great 2 yi and caitlyn have great waveclear yet statikk shyv gives them extra wave clear power. and 3 you are well aware that there are champions that have abilities that deals less damage to minions

Champs who excel in waveclear will always do better despite the item build so this is not something that should be take into account so much. Its not fair every class to have a waveclear item but mages not to and there are mages that needs something to help them with that.
