Which champion has the highest skill cap atm?

With the reworks of assassins recently, there are now quite a few difficult to play champions in the game.

Bear in mind there is a difference between skill floor and skill cap.

Skill floor = minimum skill required to perform adequately on said champ. Skill cap = Skill required to play champ at maximum efficiency.

I think right now Katarina is the highest skillcap champion. I watch high lvl plays with her and can't even follow what she's doing. Between the speed of her combos and the fact you have to think a step ahead and plan out everything you do seconds in advance makes her seem incredibly niche to play.

The most hated champions on the boards are typically the highest mechanical skill cap ones, because when you're good with them, they're incredibly strong. Riven Yasuo Katarina Vayne Leblanc There are definitely some not-so-strong but still very difficult champions though. Nidalee Azir

Bard. While Katarina might require fast thinking skills and planning, Bard has to severely think ahead and use his map pressure.

Not only does he rely on skill shots, he can EASILLY screw over his team. Additionally, alot of his kit power is wasted if you don't apply map pressure. Finally, if you don't find a delicate mix of roaming and staying, your going to be less effective by far.

Finally, I am probably biased as a Bard main.

I completely agree with you. I feel like Bard is the hardest-to-master Champion. But doing so is so rewarding. I've played with Bards that are so damn oppressive you feel like you can't ever do shit from how much pressure they put out.

Nunu is actually difficult. its almost impossible to get good ults without flashing

why u have ryze in ur game

Denims Wrath6661 votes

without ryze, and without flash, nunu is difficult to be useful.

Difficult to be useful? Yes.

Difficult in mechanics, not so much. I think thats what your saying though.

well yeah, thats what i mean. like i wanted to point out nunu because he is actually very over looked as one of the worst champs in the game.

I picked up Kat and played her pretty well after like 5-10 games when she got reworked, but I still cant ani-cancel consistently with Riven for shit. Maybe thats just me but imo Riven is by far the highest skill cap champ.

Azir Bard Draven Riven Yasuo are my votes

Katarina is horribly overrated

i think AurelionSol is the hardest to master then followed up by Bard Ivern AzirKindred asol is countered by a lot of mid laners and junglers easily kill him unless he burns his flash or ult and i really think he needs something to be able to escape. bard and ivern both have unique kits and you need to think deeply about your paths for them to be successful and kindred and azir both have high skill caps but i think their skill floors arent that high

excuse me how are YasuoKatarina and Riven considered super high skill cap -.-. personally i dont think that champion that can dash mile away, create wall that can block all projectiles and one that can dash and jump 4 times are really hard since you can dodge everything with ease and no i played all of those 3 and i expeienced how skilled they are compared to some of the champs i main like Ivern Lissandra Azir

Katarina high skill cap? Well, she's not easy that's for sure, but ...

Donno, maybe Azir. Singed is another champ I find hard to play effectively. Or Kalista
