THIS SHOULD NOT BE A THING THAT EXISTS!!! check my latest game on wukong and you will see what i mean we still won this game but we lost a tower in 5 minutes... please....thats so discouraging to see as a top and mid lane player when bot tower falls before you can finish two components of a complete item riot games help me I know I am a top lane low elo player and you do not care about me BUT HELP ME PLEASE!

Riot has actually pushed changes to make this sort of thing happen more; not all too long ago they nerfed turrets, they are currently working on a baron buff in the PBE, the support item changes makes it so teams that are behind have trouble stalling, the new runes make early pushes more effective, etc.
Seen it in ranked so not surprised about it happening in normal.
Did enemy mid/top/jungle go bot? Thats about the only way that happens. And thats on you 3 to either go down and help, or push your advantage super hard in your own lane. It took more than 2 people to make a 5 minute turret happen.
I see this crap all the time. The enemy team roams bot, takes first turret. Our top and mid act surprised that enemy bot lane shows up in their lane. Well, maybe you should go down there and defend the 3-4 man dive/push then.
Five minutes? They sure took their time.
