yes he does; do you even know how hard it is to get 1k AP in a normal game is? It takes a long time, now it wont and 1k should be the new average ending ap for the game

1k AP is practically only achievable by Veigar, why should he have a nice time? Unless 3 red drakes are in the mix

well i higher elo he isn't that good because people know how to dodge a skill shot and move away from the shadow. Now in normals he will really shine with Katarina like burst on every q

He's doing just fine and his limitation in high ELO really isn't a problem. Also, Plat+ players do just fine with him. Veigar is in a good spot and doesn't need to get buffs for no reason.

I never said he feels OP. He does his job just fine. He's in a good spot right now. 1000 AP is just overkill though, and this buff would be an unnecessary buff to a champion that's already doing just great.

Also, you're just barely above Silver. You really can't be trying to rank-shame either. lmao

Rank shame ? but honestly no he aint in a good spot right, he is doing okay, dmg is fine, lane phase is somewhat okay, but that is to be expected from the stacking. event horizon is still the problem, if you feel im trying to offend you please dont, i never been below gold so i just expected you would not dodge spells

I mean, the point of being good at Veigar is to make them near undodgeable. You either land the cage right on top of them or make it so they're caged inside and at point-blank range for Q/R which they really can't dodge outside of Flash or some other thing like Fizz's E for instance (although his E can't dodge the ultimate if I remember correctly since Veigar's ultimate is targeted point-and-click).

Laning phase is alright because he can literally just ignore the enemy laner altogether and just focus on stacking with his double-hit Q. W-Q to farm can get stacks really fast, and if he just holds E defensively against potential ganks, he's generally incredibly safe as long as he plays somewhat smart.

And once he gets a fair bit of AP, his damage just annihilates people. His E cage stun is also always incredibly helpful in teamfights.

Fizz can dodge the ult, same as vlad, zed etc.

no he cant ignore the enemy laner, they can freeze the lane , and force you to fight or starve.

I only play veigar boring as it might sound, but trust me when i say he aint fine right now :)

He has some ok easy matchups yes, but there are more terrible matchups then good ones.

And walking up to someone to try to kill them with veig is simply suicidal imo

Veig is absolutly rubbish in close combat, stun useless and thats the same with w, and since he only has q to fight with you are pretty much screwed if that happens.

Veigar is actually pretty fun and not boring, even though I play a super super safe laning phase.

its not hard to get it around 30 minutes depending how smooth sailing the matchup is

This patch is for tournament play and, in higher ELOs, Veigar isn't used to great success all that much there.
