Unless Supporting, Solo Queueing takes longer to get into a match than the matches themselves

DiveAlive··17 votes·1,550 views

Que times anywhere from 2-20 minutes, half the time someone dodges mid champ select, which means you will probably wait another 5-15 min, and there's also the chance for a 2nd dodge, putting another 5-infinity minutes on the timer.

Worst part is being lied to about the estimated wait time of 1:48.

ooooomg..

proves how shit the support role is in general, because most people including myself would still rather waste an hour getting a match than suffer being the teams towel boy/scapegoat.

But can't you guys see that Dynamic Queue is so much better then team builder. - Riot Games.

Dynamic Queue is not the same thing as the new Champ Select bro.

There's a boatload of premades so all of the popular lanes are pretty much out of the question unless you get into your own premade.

New support queue has made it hard for me to convince myself to even log on. A better solution would have been to pick position in order, then move to pick intent.

Maybe you should try supporting instead then?

Ahahaha no.

You know how this looks like on gold level? You peel your adc - he walks back to danger and dies anyways. You hit all your cc on an enemy that is out of position while your team is close by - they don't even notice what's going on despite you pinging like a madman.

You have no damage, low on gold and chronically underleveled. You cannot duel ANYONE in their team and once the enemy snowballs all you can do is sit on the sidelines and hope it is over soon while a bunch of worthless imbeciles you are forced to call your team floods you with vulgar insults on their search for a scapegoat.

This is what supporting feels like. Not even a masochist would enjoy this...

I mean I highly enjoy it, but even I have dropped supp for awhile due to how when even put it as secondary, I instantly get it 99% of games.

It's very hard to carry as support. Especially if you aren't good at them. If you just respond to that with "then git gud at a support champ", that's not a valid answer.

I can do fine as Blitzcrank and TahmKench , but I play way better and have a more enjoyable experience with someone I main. Those help factor into a increased chance of winning and likely, a more positive environment

Its super easy to carry as "support", i do so all the time.

Troll for Trump1 votes

How?

N30NP4NDA1 votes

Play Brand .

Troll for Trump1 votes

Yeah, I used to main brand, and it doesn't carry. Definitely carries less than me going mid with him.

oh, and a post that just got upvoted onto front page listing the problems with supporting.

And then people proceed to flame supports for every single misplay, even their own. Way to go to increase support popularity.

If queuing as jungle/support gave me support 10% of the time instead of 99% of the time, then I would queue as jungle/support.

Riot pretty much KILLED all the "support secondary" people, so the only people left are support mains.

By not making secondary roles work properly, and instead making the system not give a shit and give you whichever role is needed most... Anyone who used to use support as a backup last season never plays it at all anymore, because they queue as something else (jungle/mid in my case).

Pretty sure I called it a month ago.

Queue as support.

/mute all

Enjoy.

I give them a chance not to be toxic and the second they are I mute them and tell them how op the mute button is...

"support is easiest role" , "girls play support because they have no skill", "omg my trash supp doesnt help me when i engage in a 1v2 while theyre nowhere near and told me specifically to play safe", "f/o my farm support, I dont need you here anymore". Reap the fruits of your labor!!!!~

It still surprises me to this day that my queue as sup/fill can pop in under a second. I've been tempted to make a gif of it so I can farm epic meme upvotes but, eh.

ChaoticPinecone1 votes

For some reason, this patch my queue times spiked. It used to be pretty accurate. Now it takes 4-5 minutes to get into ARAM.

WadeWilson13371 votes

People play ARAM less because it doesnt give champion mastery, and people want their free chests.

The Queen Viper1 votes

For me, choosing Mid/Top takes 5 to 10 mins max.

How?

I reset the queue once it goes a bit over the estimated time.

Quepha1 votes

So play support.
