My stance on riven

Riven is ballanced ... that is a fact than one side defends and they are right

but then comes the side of people who hate riven ... and they are also right just dont word it propertly

Riven is a ballanced champion but she is ballanced around 2 cases

case 1: riven gets ahead and abuses her snowballaing to compensate for her weaknesses of being suishy and meele ... in this case her enemies have very little in a way of stopping her besodes waiting for riven to make a big fail by herself

but even if riven dies in such situation due to her snowballing power she usualy stays ahead and stops enemies from capitalizing on it by killing someone before she dies

in case 1 riven has big chances of winning while her enemies need to get lucky to win

now there is a case 2: riven doesnt get ahead and gets behind instead ... since she relies on snowballing being behind means she is behind by much and her strenghts cant put up with her weaknesses so she gets rekt by most things she finds

in this case riven isnt likely to get back into the game ... nor she is likely to get farm and back into it

in this case its very likely riven will lose ... the only chance for her is for her team to carry her either by winning 4v5 or by creating easy situations for riven to get ahead or for enemies to make enough fails to get riven back into the game

in the end its qquite an equal game and riven is as likely to win as she is to lose

now those who defend riven are simply stating the fact that she is ballanced

while the only problem with her is the way she is ballanced ... its outdated

champions should be ballanced around their interactions with enemies ... so both the hard and easy matchups are determined to certain extent by skill instead of champions and junglers

this is the only problem of riven ... instead of putting most of her ballance in the skill of player ... she has it in her matchups

so when riven gets a goo matchup she almoust (almoust) guarenteed to have a good game where she is impactfull and strong and she is likely to win that game but when matchup isnt good she is almoust (almoust) guarenteed to be a minion with little impact and little chances of winning the game

people who defend riven should realy condemn this problem ... no champion should work that way ... its anti fun to know that you are going to suck already in champion select and to know that your champion will probably suck because you are a firstpick and your counters hurt you like hell

instead you should pick a champion and go to lanewith the knowledge that you can win it if you play better
