Lee Sin's damage at level 2-13 is insanely high. Riven's is outrageous throughout the entire game as well. The only reason they couldn't be Assassins is that they build an HP item or two.

Fizz isn't STRONG, persay, but he's still annoying af to see. He can be a total troll top if you aren't prepared for him.

Fizz wasn't even amazingly strong before. People just thought he was because they hate his mobility and evasion.

Fizz right now needs a max range ult if he wants to assassinate a wet noodle.

To be fair, you can totally build and play Lee Sin like an assassin and have the damage for it. I've done it.

Anyone who thinks Fizz is strong right now though must have just come out of cryogenic sleep, living in the past and unaware of the present.
