I feel like mordekaiser is unplayable against champions like gangplank and he is completely worthless when his ult is qss'd, you should make his ult like malzahar ult, where if malzahar ult is qss'd it will still continue to do damage, so when mordekaiser ults and his ult is instantly qss'd he still gets to keep the bonus stats and keep his slow like fizz ult? Or maybe the slow is too broken and he should just be given base stats.

Only until they respawn. And he only keeps them of he kills you.

Preparation1 votesThe counterplay here is that morde waits for GP to use orange to heal from initial burst then uses ult. GP is very immobile and cant dish out much damage without his barrels unless he's already that far ahead. Stuck in a ring for 8 seconds is enough for him to run GP down I would think. Plus considering how it works with Katarina's daggers it would remove your barrels when he ults so even moreso you're screwed.

5050BS1 votesSo yes and no. The issue is that Mords Ult does nothing for him damage or Def wise. It is to cut out ganks and team fights and so just dont target those champs. Not everyone is going to buy a QSS (tho I think the item is stupid and needs to be redesigned).
Mord does not need his Ult to get kills and be a beast.

Summoner SpeII1 votesimo mordekaiser is garbage his q takes so long to cast and it does less damage than sylas q, his w is a worse version of tahm, pyke, or rengar grey health, his e is a upgraded swain e but his other 2 abilities suck so i get it and the range on it is pretty meh, and his ult is op but i can instantly qss it with orange. imo pre nerf sylas and tahm were much better picks than morde
