I think Jayce will prove strong in bot lane this meta

Isn't he basically perfect for a lane where pretty much every class of champion can show up in the lane?

I could see this working.

DL expressed he was doubtful jayce would be strong there, since he observed the particular champs that seem to be having the most success in bot lane currently are ones who can either push the wave very effectively, or are ones who can reliably get all cs even under tower. Jayce doesn't necessarily fit into either of those descriptions.

Of course, Jayce can probably still work bot, especially in the current zoo, but not sure he'll rise up as one of the strongest picks.

I don't think so. Jayce is a champion that thrives in 1v1s. His AoE damage isn't particularly high, but he can move in, single target burst someone, then E them back for a safe escape. He struggles if he gets engaged on and someone else dumps damage on him, though, which is he duo lane. Basically, in a 1v1 scenario, you can't really outdamage him, so you are either screwed if you're a stat stick, or you're screwed because you only mainly bring CC.

What even is this post? I bet you've never played as Jayce before.

This post is basically saying that Jayce is stronger when utilized as a solo laner.

It just doesn't sound like it's based on any real game experience. Jayce easily bursts out squishies so he can easily excel in 2v2 situations.

Jayce needs a frontline while being completely free of doing whatever he wants on the enemy.

So, a 2vs2 lane where every1 is ranged and loaded with CCs isn't his best position.

I'm saying Morde+Braum can be hurtful though.
