Lets Do some Rammus math with Lethality

Assuming Rammus is level 18 and that you have max lethality 93 and that you have 6 black cleaver stacks 30% Armour pen and throw in max last whisper effect 45% Armour pen plus Battering blows mastery 7% Armour pen.
600 - 93 = 507 armor
45 + 30 + 7 = 82% armor pen 507 x 0.82 = 415.74 507 - 415.74 =91.26

Rammus is specifically designed to deal with ad champions. When they can do shit like THAT how is he suppose to do his job? build straight hp and just eat the true damage? build mr and again eat the true damage? go hybrid tank and again EAT THE TRUE DAMAGE?

I feel like your math is wrong:

BC is total pen.

Whispers are BONUS PEN ONLY.

It's still a good deal of pen, but that's at 6 cleaver stacks, which only MF gets off quickly (with her ult). With that said, most people don't stack cleaver fast enough or hit hard enough with it (or even build all that pen to begin with) to melt someone as hard as this thread implies.

your math is off. Also how do you have both battering blows and precision? And % reduction comes before bonus, which comes before flat.

Let's assume the enemy is using every last bit of armor pen possible. That's 32.5 lethality from runes and masteries, 60 lethality from item 3147 item 3814 item 3142 item 3134 , 30% pen from full stacked item 3071, and 45% bonus pen from item 3036 If you have 599 armor ( 104 base, 120 from W, item 3075 item 3068 item 3110 item 3742 item 3047 item 3512 ) for example, you'll still have 185 armor, and only be taking 35% of of damage dealt. 599 x .7 = 419.3 (penetration from black cleaver) 419.3 + 104 = 315.3 (bonus armor after black cleaver) 315.3 x .55 = 173.415 (penetration from last whisper item) 173.415 + 104 = 277.415 (armor after last whisper item) 277.415 - 92.5 = 184.915 (flat reduction from lethality)

That's assuming the enemy for some reason builds a serrated dirk instead of boots, and not taking into consideration armor and damage reduction you get from runes and masteries.

Also, they're doing a lot of changes tonight for 7.4.
