Uhh...that makes no sense.

The entire point of his ult is that it deals x% of damage dealt during the prior 3 seconds - 3 seconds is a long ass time, and it takes less than 1.5 for a skilled Zed to blow an entire combo inclusive of a W shadow jump to avoid a form of hard CC.

the point is that he blows his combo, unloads everything and gets out - rendering him without CDs and in hopes that the person he just blew up doesn't QSS or Zhonya's through his ult's additional damage or its initial damage for that matter.

Zed's fine as he is, has plenty of counterplay - it's almost always Bronze players with zero mechanical skill complaining about him.

hey i'm a bronze player and I love laning against zed because bronze zed players are so easy to read its so odvious they are coming up to ult they literally walk straight at you as if they were an annie with a fully stacked stun was coming at you to drop tibbers on you so easy to read so easy to counter

He has so many counters and room for counterplay, it isn't funny.

you dont find that fact that he can blow his load and get out scott free kind of the complete opposite of every other assassin in the game including the recently nerfed talon

talon was nerfed because "Talon's ability to obliterate a target of his choosing in the mid to late game without them having any say in the matter"

does zed not fit this description better than talon ever did???

Oh okay, glad I can beat Zed's ult if I either rush a 3300 gold item that provides no cdr or mana (both of which are vital, since Zed's waveclear means you need to clear waves just as fast to keep up), a 1200 gold item that provides NO defence against his damage, or play a champion with a built in universal defence.

3300 gold for an item that provides 120AP and 50 armor (stacking on top of the AP/armor you already earned from stacking item 3191 ) and is a rush on some mid laners and jungles Fiddlesticks Heimerdinger say hi. Not every champ requires a fuckton of mana or CDR.

QSS cancels his ult for those who give a shit about living as an AD carry, builds into item 3139

Kayle is a great pick in any area of play, Lissandra's currently strong as hell both mid and top, Zilean's a good pick in mid and support. Talon escapes his ult with his own before he even hits, allowing him to unleash his own combo right afterward. Yi hits W, negates it all. Fizz Playful or Zhonyas to negate it.

You're essentially taking out zed's kill potential, so yes, it doesn't come cheap.

implying zhonya isnt a must build on 99% of mid lane mages in almost every situation. +you should be building according to the situation anyways if you ur not trash, and i can easily beat zed with yasuo so i dont see why u cant outplay him
