Personally, I think that her plants are what need nerfed the most (reduced damage and range, no more spell effects). I have no problem with a garden of thorns, but when those plants allow her to combo out and 100 to 0 most mid laners at level 6, it's just a bit much. You just can't step on all of them before they spawn.
SnugglePuggle941 votesNo more spell effects on top of reduced damage? What do you want, her nerfed to the ground? She won't be able to combo anyone with those changes. Zyra used to be a high AOE burst mage before this rework, which tuned her to more of a zone control mage. They already nerfed her damage.
If anything she needs slight number changes but not drastic nerfs like what you propose.
