How long is Riot going to ignore the issue with Hitboxes?

This is getting rediculous...

Got hit with Thresh's Q while standing behind my minion, then they get called a "God" for doing something like this.

Because of the isometric viewpoint, distances in front of a given object are percievably shorter than distances behind it.

In layman's terms, it feels like it takes 50% longer to walk to the centre of mid from bottom brush than from top brush, even though both routes are the same distance.

In the video you uploaded, thresh aimed below the minion, but they appear to intersect because of this illusion.

Can you scientifically explain this to me too? https://youtu.be/zDIyaO1eU8c

Spaghetti.

They can't ever fix that because that is impossible for them to do so in this game model. They would have to do everything from the scratch. And they are scared to admit it.

Look at the hook shadow.

Minion hit boxes are fairly small, as is the hook hit box. I'd call that more of a snipe than anything.

A Red has posted that Thresh hook (and Blitz hook) get a larger hitbox at the end of their animations. Apparently for purpose of making hitting max range hooks more likley.

So a pity box, ouch. :l

Add a checkbox in options that replaces the 3d models for skillshots with terrible but accurate sprite renditions of the effects that travel flat on the ground and precisely fit their hitboxes so players can actually see them instead of trying to guess based on a 3d model that floats "above" the hitbox. People who prefer good graphics over accurate graphics can just not check the box.
