How many more "Sona fking sucks threads"...

...until we get some sort of red response about it? Just because she stomps Bronzies and Silverados doesn't mean she's in a good spot balance-wise. Outside of people on this forum, I haven't found a single person say that unless they were non-competitive players to begin with.

Champions are allowed to have different levels of balance at different levels of play, so long as the average is within what Riot flexibly calls "acceptable".

Just look at Master Yi as an example.

Plat+: 6% play rate and a positive win rate.

You're right, he's doing decent. A lower play rate means that for a pick to be "fine", they'd need a higher win rate to compensate. Sona's win rate is good...if her play rate was good. She's in the same boat Zyra's in at this time.

Her play/win-rate isnt so bad in Plat+. 3% Pick with a 52% Win is hardly ideal, but it isnt horrible.

Sona is fine. There are several champions in far worse states than her right now, and the last two times you people begged for buffs was a complete disaster.

MF was in the same boat and she got a rework and then multiple buffs.

Zyra was in the same boat. Same deal.

Nami? Similar scenario, and now she has a higher win rate and play rate.

How come Sona can't have some attention? So she has to be Zilean tier before we finally do something about her?

"Last two times?" I assume you mean Veigar and whoever, yet WE HAVE BEEN DEMANDING SONA BUFFS FOR 16 MONTHS. I'm pretty sure that's far longer than whatever the hell it is you're implying.

I feel like the problem with Sona is that their is nothing about her that stands out. She may be fine statistically speaking, she's just not fun to play.

Yet her winrate (which doesnt matter whatsoever) stays extremely solid.

While she's played as a support in higher elos less than even champs that don't have "support" in their tags at all.

You have a problem when mid lane mages can do what you do better than you can when you're designed as "support" first, "mage" second. The next least used support is Brand, but his win rate is almost 55%. See the difference?

If your play rate is smaller, your win rate would be larger. If you're hardly used, but have only "decent" or even "bad" win rates, something's wrong. It's not like Riot can't buff champs in that state. MissFortune Nami Zyra

i would say she needs a rework, but that slightly worries me that they'll remove her auras entirely. i liked that part about her, but maybe if she had to work for big rewards (and not being the squishiest champ in the game to compensate) that'd be cool

atm though i find her kind of annoying

They already did remove her auras entirely. Did you just not bother reading the 4.13 nerfs?

she's got the small ones that last temporarily is what i mean; they're not as satisfying, but they're there. main peeve is how they messed up her cooldowns and made her feel a lot more awkward

for her to be allowed to be strong, she'd need a higher margin of error

Those are not auras, they are actives. They don't meet half of the requirements to be defined as 'auras' in the English language. Including being permanent, which as you just stated they are not.

Sona does not use auras anymore, they were removed.
