Asking Morde Mains how to carry now with The Iron Revenant...

...Since my promos to Plat 1 have been a complete failure, due to Ahri and Twitch.

Let's take this game for an example. I went 23/7 which is a pretty good score. In the game, I got the new Herald, got the 2nd top turret at 14 min. Ganked bot with ghost drake, got their tower and basically snowballed my lead and so the game, but as the game continued I became more useless and useless because I got bursted by Twitch and Ahri. Both are champions with a big range and Ahri is very safe, even when Rakan ulted them I couldnt catch up to them, because they were so far away. I tried to end the game as soon as possible, but my greedy teammates gave 'em 2 barons which lost us the game. So I am asking Morde/Top lane Mains, what I could've done better, what items I should've bought and how to well in late Teamfights

gnar+ lucian + twitch: item 3047 since you're 50% of the frontlane, I'd take item 3020 if there's a tank with me.

Braum is better for peeling. Morde is good with a tank with a hard engage+strong cc ( Nautilus Leona or even Blitzcrank )or someone like Annie or Rengar to DELETE the adc(if it's your target,or the apc). The thing is,if your team lacks cc,BUT you stomped really hard,you should go full ap ,delete the one who is fed in their team. imo,going tank is a mistake when you have such a comfortable lead.

Since i don't know the details of the game,i don't know how your teamates performed in teamfights: For teamfight oriented situations,when you trust your buddies,I would have went for something like item 3151 item 3116 item 3065 item 3047 item 3157 item 3053

Sometimes, if your team can't get to the adc because they're too much protected :going as a frontlane would be a loss since mordekaiser is not a tank. In this situation,if you have the lead: item 3020 item 3151 item 3116 item 3135 (very important) item 3065 (i think this item is more essential than item 3146 to survive,but you can take it) item 3157 : the aim of this build? nullify the resistances of the tank ,drain him to death since it's a huge pool of hp,,you'll be able to temporize with spirit visage and zhonya. item 3135 is better than item 3089 if you aim for the tank since the ultimate doesn't scale this much. Plus the void staff will buff your item 3151 so it's a win-win.

item 3089 buffs more your Q and E( to smash squishies)

When i play morde,my items that never change are item 3116 item 3151 item 3065 ,the rest is : item 3146 item 3111 item 3020 item 3047 item 3742 item 3143 item 3053 item 3135 item 3285 item 3157 item 3078 (for teh lulz) item 3026 item 3512 etc... depends on the game. So if you have specific questions,don't hesitate.

PS:all games can't be carried.As you said, "my greedy teammates" and unfortunately,morde rely a lot on allies. i think in this one,you couldn't have done shit if they were greedy and didn't tryhard for victory(huge difference) good luck
