When are changes going to be made to make this item actually niche? I see like 3 BCs most games which is pretty frustrating as a support tank that can't afford tons of armor.
Does it really need to be High in HP, Teamwide total % armor shred and a movement speed boost? This set of buffs is pretty attractive to anyone that can auto attack at all.
This item needs trimming.

Yeah, that item has been nerfed repeatedly because it is overloaded. BC is only on it's first nerf. I'll probably be downvoted into oblivion for wanting tanks to not be made of paper lategame.

Hp and CDR is not going to dissuade an ADC from taking it. These changes have proven nearly non-factor. It's still a generalist item that fits nearly every AD build.

Yeah, weird how its not the 100HP or 10AD they care about as long as it shreds total armor, makes them faster and shreds for the entire team. We deleted the old Wriggle's lantern because ADCs got AD and Armor on the same item with utility...

Imo ADCs are holding BC hostage.
Critmaster Garen1 votesone way to make cleaver even worse for adc as opposed to bruisers might be to increase the total amount of stacks to 30 (1% armor shred per stack) with a couple of additional rules.
2 stacks per auto attack, 6 stacks per spell damage instance (halved for ranged)
this would make the item a lot worse for auto attacking ranged champions while it would make no difference for melee bruisers.
