The threads about her seem like they are posted by people who just learned that she has rocket jump + buster shot + high range. She's had those for SEVEN YEARS. (or 8 I lost track)
Given that she's been fine in most of those 7 years do you think she needs to be nerfed or do you think items need to be fixed?

Same can be said over the complaints about Janna. I agree champions should not be cut off at the knees because Riot has issues balancing items. Unfortunately items dictate a fair amount of the meta. When something is successful, people abuse it to the point Riot must react.

Janna has never been healthy. She's always been one of the most frustrating champions since she promotes passive stalling strategies with her insane disengage. She has seen a ridiculous amount of changes over the years in attempts to make her less unhealthy and it has never worked. There has never been a meta when she was good and also healthy.

You should keep maining her until it doesn't work for you anymore.

My issue is people think she should lose her tools. I don't care if they reduce her damage or something. That's standard, you're right.

Dark Nephthys1 votesExactly, I'm tired of seeing these hate threads about her and everything they complain about she has been doing for seasons. Yes in her current state she is pretty strong, but it's not because of her but stacking 
with bloodlust and a support with .
Before that she was one of the lowest win rate ADCs and was practically never picked. She had only 1 buff from Season 5 to now and that was increasing the duration of her Q by 2 seconds (to 7 seconds from 5), so that buff wasn't the reason she became super strong.
Ardent Censor already had it's healing removed from it, and with the changes to the runes...ADCs might not always take the bloodlust (not sure if it has the same name) keystone anymore. So with both of those in mind, ADCs like Tristana might not just stack those 3 items now since they will need life steal now but I guess honestly...they'll probably still take Bloodlust and rush those 3 items, but now just need to get an early 
but anyways, it's not that she is OP but she is one of the best ADCs to abuse those 3 crit items + support items.

If you played yugioh way in the past, there was a monster called Sacred Phoenix of Nephthys, and then later on they made a dark version of that card call Dark Nephthys. I always liked the name and used to run a Sacred Phoenix deck years ago.

Combine that with how safe she is when she can not only flash, probably also pop heal, and use her rocket jump? She is a tad strong. Not to mention, her kit has a very easy way to boost her attack speed, and she also has a tool for busting towers and essentially a bursty form of ignite for picking off stragglers? I can see why people don't like her.
In fact, i know her scaling is crazy, because I had a game on Tristana, where I fed my ass off in lane, but I still managed to deal ludicrous damage to towers and won us the game, just because I could get my hands on an infinity edge and a phantom dancer.

You think this whole time she's been a sleeper even though she's been in and out of the meta as a hypercarry? Come on. Everyone has known how good her scaling is. She's a classic champion. Her scaling has never been a secret, nor has her mobility / disengage. So that's why it's ridiculous to see a bunch of people acting like they just learned what her kit does yesterday.

It's a bit of yes and a bit of no. Before her VU and rework, I didn't see her too much, and I don't think she was as much of a problem as she is now. But, we got hit with a double-whammy, where not only did she get a better and more cohesive kit, but AD items got cheaper. This is around the time that everyone and their dog was playing AD assassins in the mid lane and were virtually unstoppable at lower elo because they scaled damn-near just as quickly as the enemy mage did. And, for reference, I started playing right after they released Lucian, so I can't talk about "Well back in season 1...." or anything. All I know is basically the meta at the time... I think I managed to hit level 30 around when Jinx was released.
But after that AD assassin escapade, they never really boosted the prices back up for a lot of items. Tristana just remains strong because the longer she goes, the easier she can farm due to her extended range, and the safer she is because all she's going to do is get more damage, gain more range, and gain another tool for disengaging that is also a high-damage ability for finishing people off as well.
As I said, I know she's pick or ban material right now and probably has been for a while.
