Quinn? With NO VALOR?

Quinn s6? Sin VALOR

I have played Quinn in top, in the jungle, in mid, as a duo bot and as an adc, and I mainly use her in the jungle, but she struggles with very few things to perform well as she should.

Well, id like to say this: the new Quinn in s6 is a HEAVY NERF in comparation to the current Quinn, taking out her dueling capacity, her assasination capacity and a lot of versatility from her, and nerfing the early impact of her passive heavily, and reducing Valor to a simple horse. Now it is just Quinn and Quinn on the figth, the legendary war eagle she uses is now a coward bird that flies aways when it sees an enemy... but lets get to the main problem.

The problem with Quinn: **-**She has a hard time being a traditional ADC. **-**A difficult early. **-**Her ult grants a massive assasination burst but she has NO SCAPES **-**It is sometimes hard to get to the target as her E is targeted and sometimes there are obstacles like cliffs and such wich seems to reduce a flying bird to an animal wich is tied to the ground. **-**It can be hard to tell for many when to use her ult and many just use it to flee. **-**Valor has no passive to at least make it a decent melee -to prolong the time it remains as a melee-

The Problems with the NEW QUINN: **- **Valor is just a simple horse now - Totally reduced burst capacity, which is sold by RITO as a buff. 3-4 seconds burst is not a true burst, her "old" burst was done in 1.5 seconds. - No assasination capacity, no defense-blind. - Her unique scape tool has been rendered useless - No dueling capacity, hard trades, dependant on poke now. - Capacity to be a midlane, a toplane or a jungler removed (and she was better as a jungler or as a midlaner than an adc).

The new Quinn has good tools, a good Q for farming, a good roaming capacity, a more reliable E (it wont take you super far away if the target blinks or dashes) and a W that allows you to see Stealth (something that Ashe and the {{summoner:2}} spell should do as well), but it just changes her to a level where she feels boring, useless and more predictable than ever. If they at least had reduced the casting time per level of her R it would at least allow her to scape. Many players didn't use her as a melee because they couldn't figure how and when to do so. I used her in many lanes and I love to use Valor and go into a melee burst, she can be used in a Kata style, when they are weak to max out the area damage of her R, or in an ambush special style, running in the team fight and entering from behind, erasing the enemy ADC in a quick rage. With that gone the new Quinn is just a nerf to fit an specific gameplay which is now redundant, and with the new buffs to many champions there are better options for this role, that leads me to my proposal.

**Re-Revamped **Quinn Quinn should not be take as a traditional ADC, but more as a champion with an hibrid gameplay like Jayce or Gnar My advice is to return Quinn to the S5 state but keeping the changes on her E and W which are really welcome! (thanks riot)

As live (s5) she is able to keep her range and play as a quick asassin in melee mode. All she needs to reinforce her gameplay is not a damage buff but an upgraded ability to scape (still the things they did to her E and her W are awesome).

New Recommended items: she needs to have her recommended items changed as she benefits even more from armor penetration, cooldown reduction and critical than regular builds: item 3142 item 3035 item 3714 item 3071

Also she gets more benefit from this next combo as it has synergy with Harrier (passive): item 3087 item 3078

If she is to be played as a tank, the new item: item 3742 is a MUST use, as it has a heavy synergy with Valor. Im not considering the new ADC items by now. Also the plate has a good synergy with trinity.

CHANGES:

**Passive (Harrier): **if a target has been marked by Valor in the last 1.5 seconds Quinn's R will cause her to appear within the marked target.

New Q: Interacts with Quinn's R, now when she uses her Q and the projectile (Valor) is fliying Quinn becomes able to activate her R, appearing upon the location of the Q's missile or on the point it landed within the last 1.5 seconds. Has priority over Harrier new utility. Also this allows Valor to use the Q in the same way Vi does, causing it to dash until it collides with a target, can be double-clicked to use it as live /S5) causing the current AoE melee effect. Blind is unchanged.

New E: Vault can be targeted on the ground (only after level 6 -level 1 R-) causing Quinn or Valor to dash upon the location, withouth applying Vault. Also as a balance, the E manacost is set to 65 from 50.

**New Valor Passive (only active when on Valor Mode): ** Valor gains a 10% of Quinn's AD as Magic Resist and Armor (usually 30 at lategame) and causes him to have a 10% extra chance to land a critical strike against blinded targets.

These changes are meant to reinforce her gameplay and allow her to make good moves and feel like a versatile champion, also reinforcing her capacity in other lanes because she is no longer meant to be considered as a traditional adc, new champions like Kindred and some others like Gnar and Jayce, even Nidalee and Elise are a good proof that some champions shouldn't be meant just for one role. Her new changes will allow her to gain extra mobiliy when she swaps to Valor, allowing it to use the Q as an engage-scape tool and leaving the E behind as an scape tool for Quinn to use, it can also be double used by Valor to TRULY FLY trough an space giving it extra mobility in exchange of using high amounts of mana. Also the new Valor passive will allow it to be a decent melee fighter if you want to stand a good time as a melee.

Me wait repplies DrMundo

Actually pretty much the only role she can be played in now is mid lane, and a pretty sucky one at that. None of these changes help her to be a bot lane ADC at all, actually removing all the things that helped her down there in the first place

Thats just what I am saying, they have taken out all her tools thinking that a mobilty boot could just complete her kit. Her role must be reconsidered, she is not truly meant to be played as an adc, with this changes she would become viable and even a champ that could be played in LCS as this would allow her to make real PLAYS. I even think that with few changes she could be revamped into an official jungle-top character. It makes more sense for her to be on the jungle as her E, her W and other powers are really powerful gank tools and the burst and execution capacity of her ult make her a legit jungle.

Her heavy weakness (lacks of scape, no ult on tf, no capacity to be really mobile, no true reasons to tank or go to melee) render her weak, making her have a bad early game if countered, and a bad mid-game, late-game and bad team figths as you feel frustrated, being only able to use the ult to run.

Actually the way to fix her would be to change her back to what she has on live right now. Your rework doesn't do anything to improve the feel and thematic of the champion.

Also, when she was created, she was intended to be either a traditional ADC or a top laner, right from the start. Her weaknesses were there in place because of the amount of power that came with Valor form.

And some tips, for what time you have with live Quinn left: Don't build Hydra. Why would you build that? If you are going AD, go IE into SS, then LW or BT depending on the situation (most often you might go vamp scepter and then a LW). Grab the other one, then finish it with a defensive (get greaves whenever)

Hmmm yes, If you read properly you can see that I am making my "rework" over the S5 Live Quinn, not over the new useless Quinn. The changes are just utility changes to allow her to have better entries and scapes as valor.

The Hydra is just an example, she develops way better with IE, it is just an option I use over the BT as it allows me to use the activable when I am on Valor Form.

Nope, I just build normal boots and when I have trinity with deadman plate i just sell the boot.

PD: I removed the Hydra from the post hahahaha.

Hmm I do think my reworks helps her to fit the thematic of the champion and the playstyle that gets the more benefit from her kit (brusier-assasin-adc).

It makes sense that if Valor is marking a target and she uses her ult SHE appears as Valor in the location of the marked target. It makes sense that if Valor is currently flying as her Q missile you appear within the location the Q missile. It makes sense that if she can make her jump (e) over a target and that jump can pass through walls then she should be able to use it on the ground. It makes sense for the dangers she is facing to have her E reseted after killing a Champion, specially if she is going to consume a lot of mana with that combo. It makes sense for Valor to throw himself on the Q cast as a Vi-like dash. It doesn't make sense to turn her into a traditional, boring ADC when there are a lot of better options for the role. They are making her dull and taking out what made her unique.

These changes do not affect her live s5 damage but it does affect her Gameplay, properly said, it affects her correct gameplay.
