Riot, when somebody disconnects in champion select, END THE QUEUE.
This is attributed to more than half of all 4v5s. I realized this was the reason when recently I was playing a game and got into champion select. I chose Darius, then changed my runes and masteries. But nothing happened. Voila, Comcast was down for my entire county. For 6 hours. Naturally, I waited for it to reconnect, but then thought, "hey, since I disconnected that counts as exiting the queue. My teammates will have played a good game that didn't have a 4v5."
Boy, I was wrong. They fought an agonizing 4v5 against a free farming Nasus and wasted their time hoping I would return. I feel awful for them because while it wasn't my fault, I still put them through that.
Riot. Make it so that if somebody's internet disconnects, STOP THE QUEUE. Treat it like a dodge if you have to. There is no reason to let somebody who DC'd in queue be treated like a player who is connected. You have the technology, Riot, MAKE IT HAPPEN!
PS: This isn't as abusable since you would have to physically disconnect your internet, and it would be treated as a dodge, so there's going to be no point in DC'ing your router or whatnot to get out of a ranked lobby.
What do you guys think?
