Why exactly can't the New Jungle be a bit weaker on champions Riot?

From a distance I adore the jungle changes, I like the new items, the new smite system, and the buffs.

I am not too big a fan of the monsters kicking me and twisting my soul til my champion is sobbing in the corner.

I am also not a huge fan of how I am always 2 levels behind no matter how many kills I manage to grab while ganking.

However, my real question and point of interest is why the jungle monsters have to hurt so much in the first place? I figure a jungle that is less dangerous means more champions can actually do it, which is what you want, more diversity. And I know, regardless of what is done we are going to see a group of champions that are more common then the rest, but I have to ask why not nerf the monsters, and buff the lanes a bit?

I am not an expert and don't really stalk your threads and replies to people, but the jungle is the way it is right now to make the jungler not come out of the jungle as a demi god, after all someone who's prime objective is gaining control over the map shouldn't be able to destroy the laners, I am actually fine with the jungle not giving as much as laners. (I still want more gold and XP, nothing crazy but to keep up just a little better)

So I figure instead of making the jungle increasingly difficult we just give laners a small buff to make them stay ahead still, nothing major of course, but then our precious tank junglers, adc junglers, mage junglers etc, Can actually jungle, farm up, but not go into lane and dominate everything. I am sure this has been thought up already, but all the focus has been soley on the jungle and no changes to the lane, so maybe to fix the problems we just move our focus away from the jungle creeps.

And uh. Yeah.

Edit- If you look at my match history you will see I played Nautilus, first time in like 2 months or something, I wanted better context and understanding about him and the current jungle, and let me just say this now... He clears it better then before, I still think he needs a wee buff to his level 1 shield, but honestly he clears better then season 4.

I ended up being really coordinated with my ganks, mainly because 3 of us were in a skype call, I was still behind in levels, despite getting plenty of kills and ganks early on, and my gold situation wasn't as much, I mean it was bad, but its not hard to be a CC machine. Just rushed Warmogs and I was set.

Mainly the point of this is I have a somewhat altered opinion that maybe we just should just go back to buffing the champions who can't jungle well and fix the XP/Gold issue.

Since no one here has given the answer allow me to repeat what I remember from what they said when they chose to leave the S4 jungle.

Basically, in an easy jungle where anyone can jungle, ability to jungle either quickly or safely ceases to be a factor in deciding what champs are strong. Which in turn means that junglers are forced to pick champs that are really strong at something else. It turns out this something else is ganking. Hence only champs with amazing gank ability got picked for LCS and balance couldn't easily change that. In other words, the too easy jungle forced the pros to play only one type of jungle. The exception to this was nunu, and that was only because he was able to turn himself into a support with a sightstone and not suffer too much and give good objective control. The other top picks were chose for their ability to gank. Olaf (recent LCS) and Sej (recent IEM) could never have been picked in the S4 jungle at a competitive level. Is the new jungle perfect by any stretch of the imagination? no. I honestly don't know how to create the jungle they want where multiple types of junglers are viable. But I like their goal and I agree that an easy jungle is a failed experiment for them at this point.

I'm finding the jungle's gold to be alright. I do wish junglers got more xp though. It makes ganking a lane where your laner is down a little really hard, since the enemy laner could be 2 levels ahead of me. Sure, I'm not going to gank a lane where my teammate is 0/3/0 - but if they're 1/2/0, a gank could do a lot to turn things back in their favor, assuming I can survive it and pull it off.

You're not picking good sustain junglers then or picking good rune/masteries. Fiddlesticks can solo dragon at lvl 1. I even made a lvl 2 dragon guide here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5ZpZtgheMN0

There are also many lvl 2 dragon guides on youtube for different champs. I suggest looking them up because all those champs have good jungle sustain and are usually S-tier jungle champs to begin with.

I also have no problem sustaining lvls and ganks w/ S-tier jungle champs. Go w/ what's already broken until Riot fixes it. Use them to your advantage.

Because then people wouldn't be forced to play the #LC$BIGPLAY$ champs like Lee and J4.

In season 4, the jungle was without a doubt the easiest and safest way to carry a game. It wasn't balanced with the other lanes. The XP nerfs really had to happen. With that, junglers are now hyper dependent on farming efficiently between ganks, and one of the biggest problems with farming efficiently is laners poaching the jg farm when they lost lane. They made the jungle monsters hurt so much to make it difficult for laners without machete to poach the jungle's shit before mid game. They even made it so that laners can't even bring machete without smite for extra caution.

No offense, but you've only been playing since Season 4 and EVERY good jungler I see in ranked ends up getting 1st - 2nd place on gold by the end of the game and they usually get the level lead if they get the kills. I don't know what you mean by "everyone," but if "everyone" says they're being deprived to you, and "everyone" I see that's a good jungler is getting great ganks and having high sustain, I don't understand how we're playing the same game.

NOOOOO, the jungle is great now. Riot nerfed stone items because early game gankers were a problem. You see, lee sin, vi, j4 were wrecking lanes.

Now with the new jungle lots of jungler are getting kicked out and you se diversity, like lee sin, vi and j4.

How did we come from an almost perfect jungle of Season 4 to this mess?
