You know what's fun? Winning lane but still losing cause your botlane got fucking bodied.

It's so fun is it not? Completely decimating your opposing laner but still feeling practically useless come mid game when the enemy Jhin who's left lane 6/0 with item 3095 is running around autoing you for 1/4th of your healthbar while also gaining homeguards in the process and you cant do anything cause you're at a massive disadvantage in fights because your ADC hasn't even finished their first item and neutral monsters seem to hurt more than their auto attacks. Let's also not forget that since your botlane lost before the 5 minute mark dragon's are legitimately out of your reach naturally since the enemy botlane is more relevant. The amount of significance this one lane can have over the entire game still never ceases to amaze me. Top lane can lose and it doesn't matter, mid can lose and it doesn't matter, jungle can lose (as long as they are up in levels/farm somewhat) and it doesn't really matter, but if bot lane loses all fucking hell breaks loose.

Or win bot lane and then face the fed Nocturne and "insert assassin mid".

It goes both ways.

The only role with unhealthy amount of impact is the jungle. If your jungler falls behind your game is pretty much lost.

It doesn't go both ways because botlane is 40% of your team while a fed Nocturne or "assassin mid" is legit 20% of your team. Let's also not forget that assassins in general are easy to peel and if your team cares about winning and their win condition (you: the fed adc) then the assassin(s) shouldn't be getting within 50 feet of you.

My point is, you have two options when a lane is getting smashed. If it's a straight-up out-skill, 2 of them vs. 2 of you, then roams and ganks can solve things or at least stop the bleeding. If the enemy is roaming, either get the other lane (mid here) fed, or siege their base until you get super minions.

IME, when you see people winning lane but not games is they aren't sharing the wealth. Yeah, TP is shit, but if I were you I'd make the mid-lane a god through roaming.

Here's the problem. Bot lane's have a tendency to outright lose before people even hit level 6 (I know you've experienced your botlane feeding 3 kilsl before the 5 minute mark). At that point, if the enemy team is smart and can coordinate correctly you inherently lose, because even if you tp there's still a high probability it'll end in failure. TP ganks only work if it's in your favor from the get go (the enemy is tremendously pushed, the enemy jungler isn't nearby to assist, etc).

Oh, well yes I have but those aren't games. Someone is either drunk or high or wildly unprepared. To me that's not different than a troll. Thats unfortunate, but until Riot starts shooting people, we have to live with it.

To me, if you come to a ranked match unprepared then you're trolling. You shouldn't be learning in Ranked.

It’s not about salvaging it about “ can your bottom recover”

A good jungle or mid can come and help but if your bottom lane just can’t keep up then no help is ever going to be enough to salvage

Ask your mid or jungle assassin to one-shot him, problem solved. Besides one lane has almost half of your team laning in it, so it suppose to be more impactful then any other lane on its own or do you think supports are not entitled to have any game impact because their role is called "support". Besides you are not entitled to win game because you won lane you are only is 20% of the team.

Yea no.

I as a mid see this happening a lot and lots of the time when I go bottom and get them kills.

2 min later when enemy bottom returns. Once again my bottom lane gets slaughtered and that effort I did just went up I smoke

The original poster is right bottom lane failure is almost a garuntee loss because the jungle and the mid need to now not only cover their lane but also some one else’s lane

If you said that a year ago, I'd say yes and it's justifiable since bot lane is 40% of your team. It's hard to recover if half of your team (bot lane) feeds unless the other half wins hard, but that implies at least two other players have to be fed. But in current meta full of assassin?

There is an other aspect to it. That is a lot of supports being pseudo mid laners. If you feed Brand support a few kills he will outdamage any ADC, but that is what people asked for...

The answer is to play jungle or mid xd
