@Riot Would this be something possible in the future?

I tried to watch a replay of one of my games from yesterday to be able to record a bug that I witnessed in game but I was unable to because the patch version in that game was V8.14, and today the patch got updated to V8.15, thus I got this error message...

So my question is, would it be possible in some time in the future to be able to watch a replay of your games that were played in the last 3 days or so, regardless of the patch version difference? Is this something that you, Riot could make possible?

Riot has a certain tendency to implement stuff and then choose to actively ignore it exists.

Cough Practice Tool cough.

It seems the Replay update is no different.

Yeah...

One thing that I wanted to be added to the Practice Tool was to be able to add a champion as a dummy, and be able to set their level (like in Dota 2 Practice Mode). Instead of having to practice against a 10k health dummy that can falsify your damage, in comparison against real champions in game.

Not likely. Each new patch is essentially a new program, so trying to run an older version is like trying to get Microsoft Word to start up a Steam game.

If there's anything they could make, it would have to be a completely new program that can read all LoL replay file types.
