Just make autofill optional. People how want auto-fill can play with it everyone else who rather not be auto fill doesn't have to.
DOUBLE TAPPED E1 votesI've said it many times, I would be totally fine waiting an extra 5-10 minutes in queue just to be guaranteed my main role every game. I could actually climb much faster and be forced to dodge much less frequently.

Take for example NA mid tier solo Q, where jungle is the least played by far; if there is a shortage of players looking to play JG and there aren't a number of "autofill enabled" players greater than or equal to that defecit, the wait time won't increase to 5-10 minutes - It will just increase forever. Do you understand that concept?
Games will take 5 mins the first day, and 12 the next, 20 the next, etc.

If you could opt out of autofill, most people would. Therefore queue times would increase towards infinity until people just stopped waiting and quit the game.
it's not a 15 min queue, its, 30, 45, 60 min ++++

Autofill exists, that's just part of the game. You cant fight it. You WILL eventually be placed outside of your comfort zone. So what you do, is just learn one or two champs for your off-roles in the incident that you get placed in a role you don't play. I'm a top/mid main, but if I get autofilled support I can play a mean Janna. If I get filled jg, I'm pretty good on Kha. If I'm ADC.... well, let's hope I don't get autofilled in your games as an ADC lol

The reason for that is that jungle mains just like adc mains despite their roles being giga broken they keep complaining after a few rightfully nerfs in hope riot buffs their braindead overpowered role even more.
Junglers biggest complaint is that they now have to actually play the game and gank instead of afk farming the jungle until they are four levels and two items above everyone and just 1v9 the game for farming. Don't be mistaken folks junglers have since the beginning been solo lane rejects and not big brain ultra mechanical beasts as they claim so ofc going out of the comfort zone and actually interacting with opponents is scary.
But in all honesty i'd rather go back to complete afk farming jungle atleast i am able to play my lane mid or top without one jungler nonstop camping me reducing my agency to zero while my jungler farms worthless camps. Atleast in such a meta i have the ability to snowball and end the game before the jungler becomes relevant as it is now i dont get to play league and also dont get to influence the outcome of the game.

Subdue1 votesI don't know if it's different on your server and at your current rating, but I always queue Jungle/Mid even though I don't play mid, and I get jungle pretty much every time. I can't remember the last time I got anything other than Jungle.
