Calling it now.

The Villain mechanic that's on Garen is a test run for the new champion coming out.

For those that don't know, on the pbe when you die there is a small chance that you will either get 2 masks that will rise above your head labeled. "lamb" or "wolf" I'm calling it now that these masks will act as a sort of buffer mark for said champion much like Garen's Villain mark.

It might be some kind of gamble. You get lamb, you have a longer death time. Wolf, shorter. I don't really know.

That's actually an interesting concept. Maybe the person who got a kill last becomes the wolf, and the person who died to them the lamb and some sort of interaction happens between the 2 when one kills the other.+

Tahm Kench's devour does the same thing, doesn't it?

Not exactly, I meant more along the lines of the mark alternating depending on game flow.

My theory is he is a stance changing executioner with this sort of mechanic.

Lamb is mercy being a support ish champ with a heal, knock-up/back, slow, damage amp, with the ult being some sort of item active. (item 3222 maybe? I mean, Bard gave an AoE item 3157

Wolf I think would be more feral, with a suppression well......Warwick

I think new champion is either like Quinn or Like Nid...but either way, I've never been so thematically attracted to a champion since Riven.

Seems like you were pretty much right.

They've done things like this before. They'll add something that's kind of odd or seems like it's gimmicky then release something that's extremely close in the form of a new champion or item.
