Feeding Trolls VS Toxic Players

Okay, I have been reading a lot of threads lately about how people will intentionally feed and throw games just to troll their team mates. When said troll gets reported, nothing happens.... But, when someone calls the troll a jackass, and the troll reports him, "jackass" gets the ban while the feeder goes free.

Which should Riot take priority over in punishments? Toxic Players or Trolls

Don't pick Toxic Players for the reason of "Trolls are Toxic Players"

If you are gonna pick Toxic Players, then explain why trash talk is worse than people purposefully throwing games. Vise Versa for if you vote for trolls.

Trolls, for same reason. There are reports for feeding/helping enemy team, and they should weight more than flaming reports

if there was no trolling in the game, toxicity might actually be reduced

because a lot of toxic people are really just frustrated from games with trolls

It's not a matter of priority but the ability to prove and the cost to handle effectively. Being verbally abusive in a chat log is fairly undeniable and has no justifications ever. You can't blame someone else for misbehaving without sounding like a six year old crying "but he did..." An automated system can easily be implemented to screen for specific words in the chat log to check for if a report is filed against an offender.

Trolling, afk at fountain, feeding are all harder things to prove without an actual human reviewing the game. This means it would cost more to handle this issue and would only be worthy of review if multiple instances and reports are filed against the offender. It might help if the person actually confessed an intention to do such things, but once word got around that the logs would be screened for such statements....

Well, gee... it sounds like the player should not be yelling and swearing in chat at the "troll" for doing something he doesn't like, because that is pretty toxic behavior, the kind that gets reported even by people not involved in that and the kind that gets punished by Riot for obvious reasons.

Im asking in general. When an unprovoked players starts to intentionally feed just for the reason of they feel like it. Would you prefer riot gets this guy off of league or would you prefer the guy who is just a salty bitch?

We aren't 10 year olds on the playground... There are mute buttons for whiners. You can just stop a feeder.

Really, the yelling ass is obnoxious, and is a detriment as well, being too busy typing to play. But he is certainly clearer and easier one to ban anyway

Not all are.... I have personally played with Trolls who were happy go lucky and doesn't care.

If we're talking about a troll game where everyone's in on it, that's one thing. But the OP specifically called out "feeding trolls" (and presumably other, more genuine trolls), and as such, falls under the definition of "toxic."
