So why can't we share gold? I think it'd be an interesting way for a team to funnel their strength into one champion they want to protect, or it could be used to help pick someone up who fell behind.

It would of course have to be capped, so that you don't have people getting gold at 5x the normal rate and being 6 items when every enemy has 2 items if they decided not to share.

The best option I could think of to cap it would be: you can only accept x (500 - 1000) amount of gold after x (10 - 15) minutes

I realize this sort of breaks some fundamentals of league of legends, but I think it would be an interesting way to help your team mates get on their feet if they struggled through lane phase without having to actually be there to hold their hand through lane phase.

Let me know your thoughts, do you think it could work or just broken and breaks the fundamentals of league?

I think strategies such as 4 support + hypercarry would become far too dominant with something like this, and it's just not fun for the people who are funnelling gold to that single person. Don't like it personally.

Yeah I agree, which is why I think that there would need to be a cap on how much gold you can receive from your team. Like 500 - 1000 gold after 10 or 15 minutes (So you don't have people bringing BF swords or Pick axes to lane) to help your fed team mate keep snow balling or to help a team mate get back in the game
