According to patch 6.5 notes, Blue/Red buff are intended to give 2 stacks.

For people who are confused and think that they mean it gave 2 stacks from blue/red buff when devourer was initially released:

It did not initially give 2 stacks from buffs, it never did. Just rift scuttler.

How does this not have more comments and up votes? Riots patch writers don't even know what important mechanics like Sated Stacking works.

Holy hell Riot. At least act like you guys know what you're doing (Xin and Kogmaw buffs anyone? Or release warlords bloodlust )

before sated devourer come out, the old devourer actually gives 2 stack on buffs.

Would you all chill? Honestly you're all a bunch of whining, sniveling children. Perhaps they could have used a better proof read before releasing that paragraph but that's about all I can see that could be wrong with this. If you're not happy with the game, go play something else. If you think you could do a better job, go do it. If you manage to make something better then congrats, you'll make a ton of cash. If you intend to keep playing the game, socking time and potentially cash into to then please shut up, play the game, provide constructive criticism from time to time if you feel the need, and get on with your life.

Note: This is in reference to the majority of replies to this topic and others. OP just seems to be pointing out a mistake.

I suspect this was something that was intended when they were initially testing devourer but didn't make it to live and then someone just got slightly confused when they wrote out the patch notes and stuff.

Also AFAIK they made new champ select flashy and stuff with short timers so that people will not browse p0rnsites while in champ select but will focus on the game. Now they removed champ quotes because it covered important sounds, in case someone would be watching p0rn in the meantime unable to check now and then the progress of champ select. Seems pretty incosistent. And I believe people claimed a rioter had said it had been a bug. Eh, If that is true...

I do get there are resons to watch other sites (even when you want to know exact ratios of some champ currently being picked) while in champ select, but I think intensive sound like original champ select had when it was your turn plus client popping up would be enough. I know they are trying to help but this all seems pretty dumb. All problem of lacking resources I assume.

How riot balance works.... Pull a champion out of a hat, throw a dart to hit either nerf or buff, thorw a dice to see how badly/great the change has to be. Anoher priductive day at the office. Meanwhile people writing the patch notes.... "WTF a naut nerf? How am i supposed to find an excuse to justify this?"

I'm pretty sure that those buffs gave 2 stacks when sated was on pbe, perhaps that is what they were referring to.
