Please Keep Taliyah's Worked Ground Movement Speed

For reference, I am a 600k+ Mastery point Talyah main who's been playing her since August of last year. I love this champion.

When I read that she was losing her 10% movement speed buff over worked ground, I humbly admit that I almost cried. When I tried it on the PBE, I felt motion sick when using it on the move. Taliyah just sort of floated there as the rocks fired off. She's Yasuo's "little sparrow". She should be flying! I don't know how I'm going to chase and stay on target and kite. I know I'll miss seeing her cadence change as she steps onto the worked ground.

I will post a larger thread detailing my full thoughts on her changes soon but want to make this one just to emphasize this one point. It's the most important thing that I have to say.

except her gaining speed on worked ground is a mechanic where the opponent has no agency

Care to elaborate? I have a feeling about what you might mean but am not sure. The reason the mechanic is important, by the way, is that Taliyah needs to briefly interrupt her running animation to cast Threaded Volley when kiting or chasing.

The opponent doesn't really have any effect on where Worked Ground is placed. Gaining speed on it means it's harder for the opponent to fight Taliyah in it.

How is this any worse than any other champion with a movespeed buff on demand?

is that it has a cooldown and a mana cost.

However, she can’t use her main trading ability, Threaded Volley, to fire anything other than one rock. Being faster there seems fair.

she can use her W and E, and just step out of it to use her full power Q.

She can always use W and E, and you were talking about how she fares on worked ground.
