Can we put a slow cleanse back on Lucian's E?

We removed the slow cleanse and cut the mana cost to increase his mobility to compensate for his heavily decreased range of engagement.

Then we brought the cooldown up.

And then brought a mana cost back in.

So you want it to be significantly less spammable and make Lucian far weaker in his extremely narrow range of engagement.

So at the very least, why not give back the slow cleanse?

When he's in range, he needs to have some measure of favor. He's not like other ADC's (Vayne, Tristana) who are enormously powerful whenever they're in range. Lucian relies on Q, E, and Passive, all 3 of which depend on him being in auto range. He can't just carry himself with autos like Vayne, Trist, and Caitlyn. He needs time, mana, and cooldowns. So why take away his slow cleanse to make his dash more spammy, only to re-add a mana cost and re-increase the cooldown without giving him back his slow cleanse?

This is kind of similar to an old nerf to Zed. You brought his E's cooldown up by 1 second to slow down his split pushing. Alright, although you forgot that this actually heavily affected his assassination power (forcing him to take Ignite to make up for a missed E instead of the usually-ran Exhaust) but later down the line you brought his attack speed down as well. This was the correct way to nerf his splitpushing. Yet you didn't revert the nerf on his E's cooldown.

This is the exact same principle.

Sorry, but cc is the counter to mobility. :/

Maybe some other shift in his power budget?

.......Except slows don't affect dashes.

At all.

But it affects the champion.

Dash + cc cleanse = even harder to catch.

I said power budget.

The new Zed ulti make my fingers bleed.

Then we will have people trying to counterpick Nasus top with Lucian, then failing horribly depending on their skill.
