give her more range on her skills and let her be able to ult anyone on either team either more range or base damage to scale with more pen items

Lissandra is actually very strong this patch. She's a tier 1 pick for both mid and top, so you need to be careful about proposing buffs for her when she's already in such a good spot.

The reason she doesn't have more range is because she's an anti-assassin mage.

just give her some damage liss was a very good pick for a while but then rito took one thing she already lacked a lot of and took even that away from her so she now has a tank or support lvl of damage not quite enough utility to be that great of a support and too squishy to be a tank if they just give her some damage back liss will be viable again

Some slight damage increases would help a ton. She isn't really meant to be a heavy burst mage like most, she is supposed to have OK burst with tons of CC to make up for it.

But currently she doesn't have the damage. Her CC is still amazing though, and is a big middle finger to Zed or any assassin in general. But she just doesn't have the damage to fight them off. She can only lock them down while tickling them.

Just don't go overboard on the damage buffs. Remember, she's supposed to be a CC mage. Not super burst like Viktor

Being able to ult an ally would just lead to trolls abusing it. Plus it would overload her ultimates power and prevent riot from buffing things that actually need it.

I would say just improve her AP ratios a bit would be the best bet.
