can riot work on a better ranking system?
the system is so flawed. i hate how winning or losing determines if you're good enough to climb out of elo hell. because most of the time it doesn't take other considerations into mind.
what if i win 5 games due to the enemy team having 1-2 afks? does that mean i am better than the enemy team? no, it simply means i had an unfair advantage. what if the enemy had an intent feeder? does that mean i'm better? no, it simply means the enemy happen to get stuck with the guy who's on tilt and decided to troll.
aboout 80% of my lost games coulda been prevented if people didnt troll/tilt/feed. there's nothing i can possibly do from my side of the screen to keep someone from afking/trolling/feeding/tilting. someone just dies once and says "gg im done. afk" and just liek that, i lose a game.
i also feel bad for people that lose on the enemy team, that happen to get stuck with the troll. i know i dont deserve that win, but in riot's eyes, a win is a win no matter what.
the ranking system should be a point-based system. the number of objectives decide how many points you get. that way, the people that understand the game and play well in their respectively elos can have a chance to climb without being held back by trolls who just want to see everyone lose.
just like the scoring system that grades you at the end of the game, but more in depth.
now, im not sure how to divide the point system, but every objective should give you points based on importance. such as
creep score-
towers-
dragons-
kills-
baron-
skill shots landed-
assists-
team fight participation- (i dont know whats the deal with bronzies-silver, but they never seem to group and push. u always have that one retard that split pushes by themselves and dies EVERY....SINGLE......TIME.)
