GG, making smite switching so expensive killed even more jungler

Some non-Meta jungler could hold their own by picking rangers for the sustain early and then when they were stronger switch to a more PvP oriented smite upgrade. That was EXACTLY what smite-switching was for. And now thats gone too. GG, another handfull of junglers that are no longer able to do it now. Rangers becomes worthless after some time, thats why It was switched to chilling or challenging smite before finishing the item...

But well, guess RIOT doesnt like anyone besides Lee Sin in the jungle...

Er not just for non meta junglers, but considering the top meta ones were abusing it, I don't know why you are crying. If the top tier can abuse it, so can the lower ones, so its removal affects them all the same way.

Let's apply a value to the strength of junglers, and a value to changes in jungle. Say Lee Sin is a 420, while Evelyn is a 280. Say the change in smite lowers everyone's effectiveness by 50. While Lee Sin is at 370, Evelyn is now at 230, and much worse off than Lee Sin.

If the top meta junglers are the problem, then the solution shouldn't be a blanket over every single one. The weak junglers become unviable, the niche junglers become weak, and the reasonable junglers become niche. Top tier will stay top tier, because nobody is allowed to rise above them. It's complacent and changes nothing, but making the weak even weaker.

At least that's my opinion on the matter.

Are you fucking serious? You think Rek Sai or Lee Sin give a shit about not being able to go rangers first?
