It forces a moral dilemma on the player: Is killing this crab, who just wants to swim around and enjoy a simple life, REALLY worth the extra vision and boost shrine? This will separate the 'good' players from the 'I-want-to-kill-it-because-its-there' players.

thats the point...camp him out and kill enemy gankers who feel he needs to die :/ be his protector!

i think when you kill a champ killing the crab so many times, you should get a protector of the crab icon

If you kill the crabs enough Dragon should be replaced by a giant crab that takes over the pit. And then if you kill even more Baron is replaced by a...uh, gianter crab?

crab never dies though, in fact, he (it?) is testing you.

Don't make the crab fight back. I don't think junglers are ready for crab battles. They certainly got enough on their plate early game, tiny enemy crabs would be a death sentence.

it would be cool if he had like one of Dongers turrets on him that would shoot at you while he still runs away.

Tho they would need to buff his gold and xp if he were fought back, and that might defeat the point of the free vision he gives. Maybe make that a smite bonus?

I have similar feeling for all of the new jungle camps (except wolves. I don't like murkwolves u.u), they are too cute! How can you tell me i have to kill the Krugs? or Gromp? Poor gromp!

well he doesnt really die, he hides in the water and watches for you

But then we wouldn't get to see support tanks with no boots or damage try to chase him to set up dragon kill because their idiot teammates are doing idiot things....

dont let him fight back. with the way they have been tuning jungle monsters he will 100-0 you at lvl 2 like chickens

To be honest, I feel bad about all of the jungle camps but blue and red buff.

• Mama Raptor is like having a Raptor Read Along with her kids. Killing that is some Sandy Hook business.
• Mama Wolf cares about her kids so much she grew two heads to watch em both-- now she has to see them both die at the same time? That's really messed up.
• Papa Krug just wanted to go camping with his son, get some father-son bonding done. Doesn't happen.
• Old Man Gromp is really just chilling. Gromp thought he found the one place in the rift where he could retire in pece, but nope, people just won't let him be.
• Crab is obviously surrendering. He doesn't even want to fight.
