Can veigar's ultimate be made more distinct from his Q?

I personally find it very difficult to tell apart his ultimate from his Q quicky on his normal skin as opposed to the final boss veigar skin. I think this would a nice visual update change since his ultimate can be blocked with zhonyas I believe but I cant' react as quickly most of time because it takes me a second to try to distinguish it from his Q. IMO it could me made a blazing red to tell apart and to tell it apart faster while still looking menacing.

make it a skill shot.... an ult that can do upwards of 1500 dmg depending on how much ap you have and he has doesn't need to be click to win. that's why we haveZed

It does have high AP scaling, but now it's been reworked on the PBE, with little to indicate that the change will be reverted. It's still got high scaling, but it no longer scales with the enemy's AP, and deals execute damage instead.

His rework also gives him stacks for landing his abilities on an enemy champion.

So, what were you saying about Zed?

As a Veigar main, I usually use either Final Boss Veigar or Bad Santa Veigar (thank you hextech crafting). It's mainly because his spells on his classic skin don't have that nice impact to them. There's a nice thump/crunch sound when you land a Q as Bad Santa Veigar, and the effect that tells you your last hit was successful as Final Boss Veigar has a clear sound effect and +Magic icon.

But honestly, he could use a VU. I don't think his model has changed much at all since his release, and it really shows. When you look at his new skins, you can really see the difference. Have you seen the textures on his Event Horizon? It looks really old and doesn't fit into the Summoner's Rift VU from last season.

Not to mention his ult isn't nearly as impressive as it should be in his classic skin, imo. For Bad Santa, it's an exploding gift that has some neat little particle effects. For Final Boss Veigar, it's a massive explosion, where the fabric of the game itself seems to open up and erupt beneath them. But classic? Nah, just throw some extra sparkles on his Q. Bitches love sparkles.

Well, even so, it's not just people playing against Veigar that want this change.

I knew that was what you meant, but since I just love playing Veigar, I figured I'd share my opinion.
