Honestly such a garbage champion and terrible design. You have this sluggish clunky champion where all her abilities have annoying cast times oh yeah and she also has no mobility. She does decent damage with no crowd control besides a slow if they walk out of your E which is shitty because how are your tentacles going to do anything if they just run away? I don't get this champion and how riot thinks shes ok.
Lucasman2 votesSo feeder, illaoi is meant as a crowd fight juggernaut. She can be abusive in lane as her q outranges melees and she sustains, e is also great poke when 5v5ing and there is no engage. She has mobility on her w. shes meant to suck up enemy attention while having enough damage to force supports to defend or adc backs out of fight during teamfights

No one else has an e even similar to hers, (more than decent) her ad aoe wombo is better than any other (more than decent) her value is in fighting people that mess up, when you pay attention, illaoi has a real hard time doing too much to your team, though, if ignored, she is a great abuser

The problems you have listed are common for juggernauts, and she's strong in her own unique ways. You have to adjust your playstyle in order to make good use of those strengths. If you aren't willing to do that then it's not the champion's fault when you are unsuccessful with them.
