Hey Riot, don't let Kalista become the S3 Kassadin in Season 8

I'm sure there are more vetaran players than me who can explain the state of Kassadin in Season 1-4. Prior to his rework 3 years ago, Kasssadin was the undisputed king of mid lane. His Q had a huge silence. His balance numbers and even ratios were higher on both E and Q. His ultimate didn't require stacking. If you defeated him in lane, by 20 minutes his scaling and kit still allowed him to catch up and eventually dominate. He was practically undefeated in pro play and was basically at 98% banrate. If there was a game he managed to be picked, he was in a bad match up and still was rocking a insane 80%+ winrate. Riot ignored this champion for so long pretending his design was not the issue.

Kalista is approaching that. Why? Because her design is horrible. You can nerf her to the point that she is irrelevant but but if she ever managed for her kit to have decent number, it automatically becomes a pick/ban type.

Riot knows this, and she is on their list of champions to give smaller reworks too, similarly to how they already got to Azir.

Why do you think she was nerfed into the ground during season 6? Because she was the queen of bot lane. Because allowing her to deal the amount of damage she dealt with the amount of kiting power, engage power, and execution power she had was just too much. She was hopping all over pro play, and was legitimately broken. Then, Riot broke her legs, hard. She's now the only champion in the game whose basic attacks deal 90% damage throughout a game. She's the only champion in the game whose basic attacks automatically cancel if she loses vision of her opponents. And she's so reliant on her support that, if you're below diamond and not duoing, playing her is a guaranteed autolose. Why? Because it's the only way she's mildly balanced.

Ok, I'm aware of old Kassadin, but he never had a winrate that high. Ever. The champion that had the highest win rate in the game was post juggernaut rework Skarner at 73%, who was promptly hotfixed. The lowest win rate champion was release Syndra at a whopping 25%, due to her W just not working.
